Reviews
"Went here for a quick weekend getaway from Columbus. We chose this property because we felt it could provide a refreshing break spot from Kings Island. In reality, we spent the majority of our time here and had a blast. Our adventurous 4yo was beside himself as he explored the (very clean) water park. The Magi quest within the resort was a great addition. So fun and allowed us to explore the resort while keeping our little guy entertained for hours. Can't wait to go back."
"This is the second Great Wolf Lodge location that we have been to. We had a really great time, I had two service animals with me and the resort was very accommodating for me to make sure I was very close to a door. The water slides were phenomenal. I was kind of sad though that the waves and the wave pool weren't activated until like our last day there(that's my favorite part). We did have a minor mishap with our refrigerator but that eventually worked itself out. Other than the first two nights some random kids pounding and kicking our door our trip was pretty enjoyable. I wasn't too keen on the new paying for parking. Especially if you're going to have the first six parking spots only usable for 15 minutes. Other than that I have no real complaints. The front staff were very very nice I mean all the staff for that matter were wonderful."
"Update: I emailed as requested and received a response about a week later saying they would escalate the issue. I never received any further communication; however, they reached out to my parents who initially paid for our stay, and said they would comp a free night for our “inconvenience”. I’m furious that no one has spoken to me personally about our experience, OR APOLOGIZED, and at this point I’m over it. I have strong feelings about how this was handled. I’m dropping my review another star for their response. On our arrival the front desk didn’t know that we could charge parking to the room (even though the signs are everywhere?). I was actually demanded to show a physical card to insert for parking and for a mandatory $200 hold, even though she verified we had a card already on file and we were authorized users. She gave us our bands and room information. We went down and our bands didn’t work only to find out she gave us the wrong room number and wrong bands… truly set the tone for the trip because it was nothing but issues. Look below for more on food, room, and cleaning service. Water park, mini golf, arcade, ice cream shop were all wonderful. We had an amazing time outside of the “hotel” portion of our stay. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a hotel. We will not return to this or any other location."
"Awesome place to go if you have the $$$ to throw around. Not only do you have the room fee but you also have to have $100 a night for incidentals and room charges. Not to mention, pay for the food and all the other activities. The whole place needs an update but still nice. Food was fresh, good and plenty. Now, this isn't so much the hotels problem but they need to enforce a policy of no children allowed alone to roam and run crazy. I literally saw parents opening their room doors and telling their kids to go explore. I know they have the magic quest (scavenger hunt), but kids shouldn't be allowed to go by themselves. This is not a secure building. Anyone could walk in and snatch or harm kids. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldnt allow my 8-10 year old to take my 5 year old out to explore alone."
