"This is now my fourth visit to NYC taking the Q70 from LGA to Jackson Heights, but the first time I have visited this shop. I love dollar stores, but unfortunately boring Dollar Tree stores dominate the space in metro Chicago. So when I visit NYC, I always enjoy discovering new discount stores. Unfortunately, I didn't feel very comfortable checking my suitcase right at the front door. Even though I got a tag, somebody could have walked off with it when the fella wasn't looking. As such, I hurried through and only looked at a few aisles. In any case, they have an incredible selection and some true bargains. October 2023 Update: No bargains here unless you're looking for stained used clothing. The people who work here are incredibly unfriendly and I didn't like the careless way the guy barely guarded my suitcase. But what really ticked me off is that their prices went way up. They had the nerve to charge more than the pre-marked retail price on Wise Potato Chips - really, give me a break. Manhattan has far better dollar stores and the rent there is much higher - I won't be back!"
