"I remember banking at this location many years ago. Decided to stop in an have a look around. Since the supermarket had just opened I wanted to pick up a few items. I was disappointed with the selections of fresh fruits and vegetables, they weren't as fresh. The chicken and poultry selection didn't look fresh either. This should have been a red flag WARNING. But, I purchase meats from the deli. Once I got home to put the items away. I was totally devastated, and appalled. I couldn't believe or figure out how could they sell spoiled or rotten meat. And on top of this gave me a hard time returning the things, they claimed they could not give me a cash refund only a credit. Like I would take a credit and come back for another purchase. That's ludicrous."
"If you want great customer service, assistance bagging your groceries and placing a complaint to a manager who would listen, then this is not the place for you. I went shopping there today 7/5/24 and when paying for my groceries at 7:03 pm I was treated disrespectful by cashier Yuleisi, she was very dismissive of me asking for bags and ti help me bag my groceries, she just turn her back towards me with an attitude and ignored me the whole time while looking at store manager who was 10 feet away bagging groceries. I complaint to him of what just happened and gave me the run around and walked away. What a shame that such a beautiful supermarket has low quality people working there, pains me how minorities are treated by people who don't have pride in their job, no wonder this country is in shambles."
"They've maintained the historical features of the building (floors, ceilings, facade). The supermarket is very large and clean with a big selection of products, reasonable prices and deals pretty much on every aisle. They sell hot food and have a small dining area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only aspect I think needs improvement is the check out area, for all the space they have, it felt a little tight. Other than that, this is a great addition to the area and I hope it stays the way it is right now."
"Awesome use of space! What we now know as Fine Fare used to be a bank, vacant for many years. They have turned this space into something useful for the community. It is big in the inside, and items are priced well. I was very pleased with my experience shopping at the location on the Grand Concourse!"
