"I've seen this site go from Thrift D, to Rite Aid (I think there was another store before Rite Aid, but can't remember the name of it), to Walgreens and now to Fine Fare and think it's the best usage yet! Having grown up here, it's exciting to have a new grocery store in town. The prices are decent so far, and so is the upkeep of the store. It's a little tight, but the building wasn't always the biggest, so considering I think they've made a great use of the space. My mom doesn't have to trek to Boston Road now (even though that's not too far either). I walk here on my way home from work. Now, let's hope they open a Fine Fare at the site of the old Rite Aid on Eastchester Road between Mace and Waring. Actually, let's also hope we get something better than a "distribution center" at the old Stop & Shop on Eastchester Road. Nevertheless, this is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and welcomed resource!"

"This location was always a pharmacy and I am impressed and happy to have this supermarket so close to me. It is spacious and they have everything you need. All the fruit and vegetables are fresh and love their grab and go section. This supermarket has a wide variety of different brands to purchase from and the prices are competitive with that of other supermarkets however with that being said some of the meats can be priced higher than some other supermarkets. The staff were helpful and very friendly when I asked about some of their products they sell. Overall great place to shop."

"The neighborhood was so happy when we saw this was coming and then you walk in and see the prices ($6.99 for two bell peppers, $11.00 for large honey nut cherrios). Some items were stocked beyond your reach, such as the mouthwash near checkout. You literally need a ladder to get to them. Hopefully they adjust their priced and rethink some of the stocking choices. Shocked to see the 40oz malt liquor in a store that looks family friendly. Very friendly staff , good luck to you all."
