"Someone has used my credit cards unauthorizedly in this store multiple times; the clerk assisted them in overriding the request for a PIN. I have gone there and spoken to the thuggish-looking clerk over it, he first feigned ignorance but later blamed me for not safeguarding my card -- after I showed him the transactions records. I reminded him that one of the safeguards was my PIN, which he overrode when the system requested it. He finally admitted his role after I threatened to invite law enforcement, apologized, and promised to never do it again. As I write, he hasn't kept that promise. That store is the only roguish store that engages in this criminal behavior in this neighborhood; that makes me wonder what they are actually selling there."
