"There are a lot of wedding reviews on here but here is a christmas review: Words cannot describe the peace and tranquility that is Toad Hill Tree Farm in Middleport, NY. You've driven some back roads for a minute when you pull up on the grass of the family farm house, which is decked in lights with a tree on the wrap around porch. You exit your car and are greeted by the smell the bon fire, and the wagging tail of the family dog. The air is crisp and smells of course, of pine. There is no traffic, just a calmness that hangs in the air. It feels like you've stepped onto a scene from a Hallmark movie. Walk past the old barn and along the rows of trees of all shapes and sizes. They have been blessed with years of business, so it may take a bit to find the perfect tree but it's worth the hunt and there are many new trees that will be ready in a few years time. Grab a saw from the rack or flag down the owner or his son-in-law who will wrap it up and get it on your car. Could you find a fuller, better manicured tree quickly elsewhere? Probably - but that's not the point here, not to mention every tree is only $45 and includes homemade Christmas cookies and homemade hot apple cider for your family to enjoy by the fire. It's a personal experience unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. Its the chance to pause the holiday hussle and be present with your family. I really encourage anyone reading this to go support them for a tree or wreath grown on a sustainable family farm. They are incredible people and it's truly a one of a kind place."
