A supervisor reached back to me within the hour and a crew was at my house in minutes to check the cities side of my drain. "I'm going to give an honest review. The NFWB needs to update their way of doing things, get with the times. I tried to help my elderly disabled mother pay her water bill by doing an E-Check over the website last Friday. When it still hasn't cleared in my bank account by next Friday (today), I called to find out why. The secretary over the phone assumed I had Key Bank, which I don't. I told her who I bank with, and she seemed confused as to why the E-check would bounce back. I'm ALSO confused as to why it bounced back, because I have more than enough funds, I triple checked that I put my account and routing numbers in correctly. I told her I never got any email or indication that my payment didn't go through. According to their records, they knew the following Monday that the payment bounced back, and she said I should get something in the mail saying that it bounced back. Well, my mother's bill was due Thursday.. today is Friday.. So, she'll have a late fee AND apparently a fee for the payment bouncing back????? Something as simple as an email stating that the payment didn't go through would've saved SO much time and late fees. Being able to make payments over the phone with debit/credit would be so convenient. But no, you have to GO THERE with cash, check, or money order in hand... This is crazy, and I REALLY hope to get this late fee and bounce back charge waived... Unreal."

"I have tried calling the water board for 4 hours and they never answer their phone. Simply need to switch names of ownership and they will not answer no matter how hard I try. Totally incompetent. 2 hour lunch breaks are not necessary because they don't do any work. No choice to be on hold and wait either. You have to keep calling hoping someone will answer in the 15 seconds the phone rings. Absolutely horrible. Extremely frustrating and if I could leave a negative 5 score I would. Absolutely Terrible"

"They only seek to fatten there own wallets while raising the water bills on the residents of Niagara Falls. Its bad enough we have to pay a garbage collection fee and now this. To anyone reading this. Do yourself a favor and escape Niagara Falls while you can!"

"I would literally rate this a negative 5 if I could. I don't see how the city doesn't believe it is THEIR fault when one of THEIR main water pipes bust. Shouldn't there be preventative measures in place to know which pipes are old and should be replaced in order to fix the problem BEFORE major issues occur. But then again I guess why would they care when they clearly don't care about the people that live in their city."
