"I had a good experience at the consulate. I went there to renew my passport. I was done within an 30 minutes . The staffs were courteous and very helpful."
""I had an excellent experience at the Consulate General of Nepal in New York! The staff were courteous and efficient, but I particularly want to highlight the outstanding service provided by Nabaraj Sir. He went above and beyond to assist me with my query, showing great kindness and patience. His helpfulness and expertise made my day. Thank you, Nabaraj Sir, for your excellent support."
"While the overall atmosphere at the embassy was welcoming and great. I found the reception area could use a little more warmth. The staff providing consular services were friendly and efficient, making the process smooth and stress-free. However, I did feel the reception (female staff) could benefit from some training in creating a more welcoming and approachable environment. A simple smile and a genuine "Hello / Namaste" can go a long way in setting a positive tone for the visit. Despite this minor point, I would recommend this embassy for its overall efficient and friendly consular services."
"I am so glad that The Consulate General of Nepal has a decent office now compared to the dingy one they had last year. Most of the staff are helpful and will get the job done (although I had to wait for 3 hours on this particular day, it wasn't that long during my previous visits). Now the reason for one star is this employee who lacks professionalism, is busy body and talks rudely. When I asked a question, this employee replied back with "Do you not know how to read?". Who does that? And I heard them answer the phone with such a tone that I would regret calling if I were the person on the other end. I don't know, I must be bitter about this employee having a government job with such, apparent, standards (I have read other reviews too) while I am here wasting my time writing this review."
"I had a good experience at the consulate. I went there to renew my passport. I was done within an hour. The staffs were courteous and helpful. The challenging part was getting an appointment in the website. Also, your call being answered in the first attempt. Overall, I would say it was a pleasant experience. Just waiting period to get the renewed passport seems to be taking longer in my case."
