"I organize events for a local homeschool group I lead called Wild + Free and Barb happily accepted our request for a sap to syrup maple tour that far exceeded our expectations! She went out of her way to make sure the scones we made, baked snd ate were gluten free, dairy free and egg free accommodating one of our groups dietary restrictions. We made maple milk to go with the maple cream smeared scones that were absolutely delicious. Barb also showed us the large vacuum sap tank that all the sap lines lead to. Leslie Morton took us through the woods and showed the kids how to tap trees and even let the kids drill their own hole and hammer a tap in! The kids really enjoyed the whole experience! Thank you so very much to Barb and her team for a beautiful homeschool day filled with learning, baking and nature. We will be back every year to this beautiful maple gem overlooking Otisco Lake."
