"About 15 years ago, the diamond ring I inherited from my grandmother was stolen. I searched high and low for a replacement, unsuccessfully. My family has been a long-time customer of BT O'Donnell's, so I decided to try to have the ring duplicated. I had only an old appraisal description and b&w photo copy of the ring to show Andrew O'Donnell. The big problem was the main stone, which I'd always been told was a "brown diamond," and I remembered it being kind of the color of root beer! Andrew found a beautiful diamond from one of their many sources, but it wasn't quite right. As we were talking in the store, he mentioned that perhaps the stone was a cognac diamond and showed me one that was just the right size that he had in stock. It was perfect! A short time later, my beautiful handmade ring was ready. When I saw it, it was like looking at the original, and it brought tears to my eyes!
