"Located in a beautiful secluded section of Wallingford, close to Springfield Mall and Swarthmore College. There is a charming sculpture garden and a lovely stone tower with a mosaic floor. The interior is very spacious and a great exhibition area. Opening receptions are held there as well as many classes for both kids and adults. I took painting classes there back when I was a teenager and loved it."
"Paid $270 for a beginning wheel throwing class. I show up and the woman in the front office, the face of the establishment, rolled her eyes at me when I asked where to go for the class. She was incredibly rude. I get to the room and find out that the beginner instructor is on vacation for the first two weeks of the session. They never informed the students about this. We have to work with someone who's clearly uninterested in teaching beginners. Doesn't help me except for the first 45 minutes of class. Then sits at a wheel and makes her own pieces. I'm told to stop and start cleaning up with absolutely no direction. I start watching others to figure out what to do. The "teacher" leaves the room to go take care of something and never returns. Also, the clay studio manager Jim can't be bothered. Asked him where something was and he mocked me for it. What a terrible experience."
"Great place for a venue. Ndichu received standing ovation and came back on set for encore. Acoustics really good."
"I had the privilege of performing here recently for a wedding. I loved the old charm and architecture of this building. The ceremony took place in the concert hall on the 2nd floor that was accessible by elevator. As a harpist, having handicap accessible locations is super important. The interior architecture was stunning and the acoustics in the room were outstanding. Highly recommend."
