"For a “greener cleaner” I’m still shocked at how much plastic I get back on each delivery. Clothes wrapped in plastic that don’t seam to fit (but can) inside the recyclable bag, the sleeve clips and the most annoying, the collar plastic stays rust I have asked repeated to not use. They are so obnoxious. I send back the collar wraps and cuff clips each time only to still find them in the “send back” pocket so I know they are not be recycled and reused."

"They did fine with our regular clothes. Had them do a beaded wedding dress and they damaged a lot of the beads and charged over $300 - understandable that these dresses would be very hard to clean, but you can either charge a lot of money and be super careful, or charge not a lot and treat it like every other clothing item, but not charge a lot for mediocre care. When I attempted to contact them personally about it rather than share publicly they said they would follow up with me, and then there wasn’t ever any follow up. They send a LOT of texts and emails about wanting their services to be top notch, but it seems like these are mostly a bid to leave a positive review, as a negative experience didn’t warrant any actual fixing of the situation. They’ve also sent texts offering free delivery of items, and then call you a few days after the delivery date to say you actually don’t qualify for delivery, which is fine but then why spam us offering a service we can’t have? I like the fact that they are supposedly better for the environment, but the higher cost for a non-great experience means we won’t be using them again."

"This place is such a scam. How does it have so many good reviews? I have a great dry cleaner in West Town but didn’t feel like driving down to him, so I tried Greener Cleaner for the first (and last) time. I should have seen the messy/dirty storefront as a red flag but all the good reviews made me feel like I should have faith. But wow I should have listened to my gut. I took 3 vintage dresses to them with stains on them. I pointed out each stain to the woman at the register and she said they would be addressed. Today I went to pick them up and without showing them to me first, she tries to ring me up for $75–what?! For THREE DRESSES?! I guess my bad since I didn’t ask price first but my guy in West Town charges $10 per dress and I figured that was industry standard. Not here! So I told her for $75, I need to examine the items first, and wow was I glad I did. Everything had all the original stains on them and one item was returned to me damaged. When I told her I’m not paying for this, she said they can send the items to be processed again but I would have to pay first. I told her I have no faith in their ability to clean the garments and won’t be paying $75 for 3 garments that look exactly as they did when I brought them to be cleaned. She put me on speakerphone with a manager who said that I have to pay because they “cleaned” my items and that the stains must be permanent if they couldn’t get them out. I told her there is no way I’m paying for the two worst ones and at most I’ll pay for the one that looked minorly improved (although that was the one they damaged) and that if they made me pay for all three, I would initiate a chargeback on my credit card. She told me to forget it and just take them all. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay but wow why make me put up a fight like that?! So I took them home and with dryel and OxyClean, I got all the “permanent” stains out myself and it didn’t cost me a thing. Seriously this place is a scam. See my pics. Also they claimed the items were cleaned but check out the disgusting brown water after I soaked the dress they claimed to clean in OxyClean. Gross. Looks like I’m sticking with my cleaner 6 miles away bc he always does the job right and charges 1/2 to 1/3 the price."

"BEST cleaners. They do alterations, got some stains out of a white coat which I found impossible to get out and they also clean Uggs! Totally reasonable pricing and relatively quick turn around. Always delighted to do business with them."

"I’ve been going to the Greener Cleaner for years and was always appreciative of their detailed approach to treating clothing. In the last couple years, I’ve acquired a lot more dry clean only garments, so have been a more frequently customer. Always satisfied! I recently tried their home deliver pick and drop off. What a game changer! Lalo and team are so courteous and prompt; it’s great to save a trip to the store."
