"DO NOT RENT HERE! I completely agree with @James Braun. I am a current renter here and I wish I had seen his review prior to signing my lease. Blake Barnes was extremely nice to me to get me in to show me several units. Once the lease agreement was signed, he immediately stopped responding to my emails and would return any of my calls. He handed me off to the most incompetent person in the whole wide world, Makenzi Morrison. There is not enough cyber space to explain all of the things she has done wrong since I have been there so I will be brief. I asked for office furniture to be put in my office since mine was taking a while to be delivered. She said the furniture was there. I had a City of Chicago inspector come visit my office for a certification, low and behold my office was completely EMPTY. This is after Makenzi had done a ton of things wrong in the past already. For me this was the final straw. I complained to her supervisor, AGAIN, Chrissy Wagner. Only for Chrissy to tell me that I should be patient with Makenzi because she is doing the best she can. Excuse me?! Purposely misleading me, is doing the best you can?! Expansive employees clearly do not think that the tenants that rent there are valuable. I'm glad I know now because needless to say, I will not be renewing my lease. In addition to that, I will shout from the rooftops and every social media platform there is about how TERRIBLE they are, since they seem to think that they can come to work, not do their jobs and still earn a paycheck. Well, I think more people need to know about how "EXPANSIVE" operates! And especially these 3 employees in particular, Blake Barnes, Makenzi Morrison and Chrissy Wagner. In my opinion, they all need to go back to customer service training. Because they either missed the course or were sleeping."

"Don't rent here. I'm a current renter for the past 2 years in Chicago and have been trying to discuss my agreement with my account manager for 3 weeks to no avail. Major issues in this building/market include: turnover of quality staff, disinvestment in this market for expansive with deferred maintenance issues like constant broken elevator and coffee machine, plumbing issues."

"To write a negative review of a place for a technical issue that's outside of their control is cruel at best. The Novel Coworking Superior team has been tremendously accommodating. They've gone out of their way to attend to every customer's needs offering flexibility and various levels of access to compensate for the malfunction. My experience at Novel has been very positive. From day one, I had a warm welcome to the building with all the resources in front of me. Every time I had a question or a special request, they accommodated. You really can't say that from other organizations which have become impersonal. The Novel people really make you feel at home. Special shout out to Marne and Brent who have managed this place in a pristine fashion with extra care and attention.
