"Very fun place & I would go back. My only complaints are: 1. I didn't know parking was $20 for regular & $30 for closer (which was sold out) 2. I wish the park remained opened later until maybe 7 or 8 at least in the middle of summer. 3. The lockers are a bit pricey @ $18 for regular $20 for large & at least $22 for largest. & the large lockers were sold out in the area we looked. We didn't realize until after that there was another locker area where we could have probably got a large locker & combined all of our stuff to save $."
"Spent a Saturday at Water Country with a large group. The entry process involved a very long car line, but getting into the park itself was straightforward and quick. We rented a cabana overlooking the wave pool, which had a great view. It was a bit noisy due to nearby machinery, but it didn’t bother me much. The cabana was well-equipped with a fridge, chairs, a table, a safe, and a fan. I would definitely rent one again. Overall, the park was decent—not perfect, but the kids had fun. One negative experience was that someone "potentially" spat on my son from the water slide stairs above. I'm pretty confident this happened, and it was a sour note on our visit. The food was very expensive in my opinion, but the quality was decent. Despite some drawbacks, it was a nice day trip with kids and family. We would go back, but I would definitely bring more of my own water and food, as you're allowed to bring in coolers, food, etc., which is a big plus."
"Sort of a late review but I had a great experience. I went on a weekday and none of the slides had more than a 10 min wait. The vibe is very laid back and chill however there is a lot to do. Keep in mind the place is cashless pretty much so bring a credit card or use the kiosks to transfer your cash into a temporary card. The food here was not great but as expected for a water park. Would still recommend coming here to try it out and see if you like it!"
"We booked online 2 seniors, 3 adults, one junior and a toddler along with a Cabana. We tried booking a parking pass but that didn't seem to work so we paid when we arrived and there really was no line into the lot on a Tuesday morning though there were a lot of people and cars already there at 11:30a.m. We were disappointed that the wave pool was closed and had been closed for over a week with no notice of that on he website as we were really looking forward to that particular feature and our cabana was close by it. Still, we went around the floating river several times and down a number of the slides with not too long a wait at any one of them. The staff were helpful and we ordered food delivered to our cabana: wraps, a large cheese pizza, a couple of pretzels and a couple of drinks. The wraps we ordered came as salads and the server was very considerate and helped us get everything we wanted. We had some fried dough on the way out and thoroughly enjoyed our day at Water Country the above mentioned notwithstanding. Keep in mind they are a cashless site so be sure to bring a debit or credit card for all your purchases."
"First time we have been the Water Country in 5+ years and we had a lot of fun. It was a hot Saturday in July. I read through google reviews to get some tips and I can recommend a few. First get there early! We pulled into the parking lot at 9:50am and still had to wait in a 15 minute line to get to parking. 2nd, get premium parking! It costs $5 more ($25 instead of $20) but well worth it. It made it much easier to lug our stuff in and out of the park, especially at the end of the day when everyone is tired. The rides get busier in the afternoon, so get in line right away for any of the slides you want, we noticed lines were about 10 minutes in the morning and over 30 minutes in the afternoon. Bring your own water, a water inside the park is $4.50. The food was ok, nothing special, and pretty expensive. The wave pool was closed, which was a big bummer, with no notice on the website. And lastly, we found that a cabana was not needed, they are pretty expensive, and we found plenty of places to set our stuff down in the park. We will definitely be back next summer."
