Recognized as a priority for conservation by both the city of Portsmouth and the Seacoast Land Trust, Sagamore Creek Headlands was saved from residential development in 2003 thanks to the efforts of The Trust for Public Land. With federal funding and donations from the community, this scenic waterfront land is now permanently protected for all to enjoy.
