"Beautiful area. The water could be cleaner. They don't allow life jackets or floatation devices."
"We definitely hope this pool stays open for a really long time because it's a gem here in portsmouth. For residents the cost is so dirt cheap and free for kids. But the only thing to be aware of is that the lifeguards do require break time during which everyone must get out of the pool for 15 minutes"
"The pictures make this place looks so much better than it actually is. It's not as big as it looks. Cash or check only. Price is cheap $4 non resident $2 children. Parking is free so that's a plus. The life guards are on top of everything you do. Hair must be tied back. No water shoes. Must keep shoulders about water. Bathrooms are dated and ok. There is a break every 1.5 hours everyone must leave pool and wait for life guard breaks. There is a park very close by. You can bring food or drink. There are some table and chairs otherwise bring your own. It's was ok. I would rather the other pool in NH with great playground in Exeter."
"Wonderful place, thanks"
"This is a wonderful outdoor pool, with something for everyone--family swim, kid's area, lap swimming. The lap lanes are a little odd though, due to the curved shape of the pool, each lane has a different length. There is lots of room around the edges of the pool for chairs, and many groups bring their own chairs & picnic items, and make a day of it. Parking can be tight, at busy time you may have to park on the grass across the road from the pool. The bathrooms / locker rooms are a bit sketchy though."
