Reviews
"Brianda is amazing! She is always thorough, kind, and takes her time. Everyone at Dr. Dev’s Medspa is so professional!"
"I don’t know how but they managed to remove my original review. I went there for eyebrow thread lifts on March 14 2022 and I ended up with swollen face, threads poking my eyelid out and no money back. They are very bad, very unprofessional and their only interest is to take you money. The doctor has the most it’s not a big deal attitude, yeah I messed up a little but it’s not as noticeable, you are obsessed. Not only I did not get the promised results, but the doctor told me I don’t know what you were expecting the threads to do. You got a good deal bc I don’t inject nobody threads for only $1000. they kept pushing my check up until I just showed up and walked in, almost a year after my eyes are in the same condition looking swollen, thread poking the corner of eyelid, the bad placed threads haven’t dissolved. God knows what brand he used, if it’s even FDA approved. Stay away from this place, you will pay money to have your face deformed."
"Such a great experience. Dr Dev has the nicest technique and gentle. My botox is always so perfect. He only gives you what you need and really listens to his patients. I’ll only come to him. And Brianda the Aesthetician is Phenomenal as well and I’m coming to her for skin treatments from now on !!"
"My skin was dry and I needed a facial, so I decided to try Dr Dev Medspa mi am SO glad I found this gem. The office upon walking in is decorated fabulously. It is so inviting the staff greeting me were so friendly. I had an amazing Glow facial with Brianna. She explained every part of the process since I was new to facials mi was beyond relaxed after and my skin already feels so hydrates. I definitely will be back!"
"Stay away from this Medspa at all cost. I had an IPL laser treatment and was burned quite badly due to gross negligence of this establishment. I have had Picolaser treatments here before, and never had any adverse reactions, so I did not think I would have had a problem with an IPL laser. Prior to the administration of the laser, I was never informed of the risks of the procedure nor signed a consent form. A patch test was never done, which after my burns, I learned should always be conducted before doing the procedure. The procedure was also done on the highest setting the first time it was administered. And on top of all that, the procedure was administered by Shannon, an aesthetician, and not the physician, Dr. Sandhu. In the state of New Jersey, I later found out that only a physician is legally allowed to use a laser on patients. He did not even oversee his aesthetician perform the procedure, and she had little to no experience with administering IPL laser treatments. During my procedure, I told Shannon that I was in extreme pain, but she ignored me and said that it was necessary to continue with additional passes of the laser to get the best results. The next morning, I woke up to facial burns all over the top of my head. Dr. Sandhu ADMITTED that it was HIS fault that I was burned by the laser, however, he never even offered to refund me for the procedure. I had to ask for my money back, and it took over 2 weeks to get a refund. Dr. Sandhu would keep telling me that he had processed the refund and it would post to my account any day, but it never did. Finally, with enough persistence on my part, he refunded me in cash. Dr. Sandhu and he had me come into the office on Tuesday morning, after telling me to simply use Aquaphor and Neosporin on my face upon examining the photos of the burns that I texted him. On my Tuesday appointment, he told me to stop all treatment on my face and allow it to heal on its own. My skin was still quite red, and there were holes in my skin. I received the same advice the following Tuesday during my next check-up appointment. Something didn't seem right to me, to not treat second-degree burns, so I visited a dermatologist, who told me that I needed to apply silver sulfadiazine and zinc oxide to my burns. Within four days, my skin healed better than it had in the two weeks that Dr. Sandhu told me to do nothing. I went to see Dr. Sandhu again four days later for a follow-up, and he said that my skin was healing amazingly fast (I wonder why?). He said he was going to place me on hydroquinone 8% for all the dark spots on my face where I was burned but did not have the product in the office. He asked me to return 2 hours later to pick up the product, but when I was already in the parking lot of the medspa, I received a call from his assistant that the wrong product had been delivered to his office and if I could come back again tomorrow to pick up the product. At this point, I was becoming quite frustrated with how much I was being inconvenienced for something that was not my fault, and the assistant handed over the phone to Dr. Sandhu. Dr. Sandhu always had a nonchalant, "I don't care" attitude about the injury created to my face, and even told me on the phone that I was making a big deal over nothing--that his other clients have suffered worse and didn't get as upset as I did. He then proceeded to slam the phone on me while I was trying to discuss when and how to obtain the hydroquinone medication. I tried to work with Dr. Sandhu to resolve this issue, but this physician is not only grossly negligent, but he is rude and lacks a conscious. He does not care in the least if he does harm to others and although he will admit he is wrong, will not do anything to resolve the issue. He only cares about money. I am now stuck having to pay for the medical damages that Dr. Sandhu and his assistant Shannon have caused me. I have reported Dr. Sandhu to the Better Business Bureau and the NJ Board of Medical Examiners."
