Hertz Car Rental - Fort Lee Bergen Blvd HLE 1404 Bergen Boulevard, Fort Lee, NJ 07024

"The guys here take FOREVER to do ANYTHING it is the most unprofessional rental car company. I rent for work for long periods of time now for two years. I won’t just say it’s this location, hertz in general have long wait times. I rent in different cities they all have this slow wait forever policy’s for whatever reason. Now I know it’s just them I rent enterprises, and budget they both get you in and out usually with better vehicles. But back to this location they are so lazy and slow. One of the vehicles I rented broke down, I had to pay for a tow myself. They offered no apologies nor accommodations for the vehicle literally they did not apologize at all. I left my son’s earphones in the car, called right after returning it to tell them, they said they were gone. So I said I would track them and all of sudden they find them. That gave me a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t rent from them if it was my last choice. I d walk. They need customers service training at all hertz."

"I rent from this location frequently and can't say nice enough things about the staff there. They are always willing and tried their best to help and accommodate the needs that I may have during my rental. I haven't rented from another company/location in the past 4 years."

"I was told the vehicle I reserved could not be released because I made a same day reservation. I was also told there are people that reserved the same sized vehicle, weeks or days before me. Why allow people to reserve vehicles that the company can’t provide. If you run out of vehicles, the customer should be notified immediately! I travelled from the Bronx to pick up the compact vehicle I reserved & I was offered an electric vehicle. If I wanted an electric vehicle, I would have reserved one. The customer service was below satisfactory nor accommodating. There should have been a free upgrade, the next location should have been called, or I should have been notified of changes to my reservation. The heavy set Caucasian representative had an oh well attitude & the tall African decent representative made a very tasteless joke about the situation & I didn’t appreciate the bad joke at all!"

"I had a car rental this morning at 8 am. No one was there. I waited for half hour. Called, banged on the window, walked around the garage saying 'hello'. Had to spend 300 dollars on ubers and was late. Thanks Hertz. Never using Hertz again."

"If i could i would give 0 star to this place. Absolute scam. What happened to me is they have 4 cars and they rent out online 6 if you are lucky you get a car if not you are wasting your time. And top of this you have to spend 30 minutes on phone call to get your money back even though they don’t have enough car!!!!!! How can a company size of this can operate like that????? This is a disgrace a scam. If you don’t want trouble and headache stay away from this place"
