"Had an amazing experience at Versailles. Very friendly and helpful. Moussa went above and beyond to find the perfect fabric for me. They always maintained a great attitude and were very open & willing to action my feedback when I went for my fittings. Would definitely do business with them again!"
"Completely digusted how this place is ran. I will never ever spend another dollar here nor will I ever refer someone here. This place is unprofessional and completely over priced for the quality given. Gave 1 star because I could not leave a review without 1. Save yourself the aggravation purchase any where but here. I wonder if the Fulton store is any better cause this Flatbush 1 ain't it!!!!!"
"I reluctantly write this review. They began working on my dress based on the picture I provided two days before my event, even though I came a month in advance. I asked for silk they gave me polyester. Too much fabric used to create the dress and charge me $1600 after $100 discount because of fabric inconvenience. I have pictures of what I asked for vs. what I got. This wasn’t professionally done. Stitching and fitting is everything for me. Only to have the seamstress stress how much he likes my idea and wants to remake the dress to sell in the store!! If you’re looking to spend money for quality work this isn’t the place. But their ready to wear dresses are beautiful. :)"
"Versailles deserves -100 stars for what they delivered to me as the finished product. I was recently apart of a bridal party and after the first attempt at dress shopping, the bride decided that she wanted the bridesmaids to have our dresses made and she picked this place. This was my first experience with having a “custom made” garment and it was AN ABSOLUTE HORROR. First off, the design for the dress that was given to Chin was NOT what we ended up with, several of the bridesmaids expressed this during the first “fitting” however it was swept under the rug instead of being disscused at that time OR better yet, being told to the bride prior to making the dresses that she could not deliver what’s pictured but she will give us something similar. We had scheduled fittings and at each fitting, what we were told would be done by the next fitting date was either incorrectly done or not done at all. Chin promised the bride to have the dresses by a specific date and that was a lie also. The first fitting, I was measured, the second, I tried on the dress, she pinned it in the back to mark where the zipper would go, the third fitting the dress was measured and marked to be cut on the bottom while wearing the shoes for the wedding, during what was supposed to be the final fitting, I tried on my dress, it was cut and had a zipper, it however did not have the appliqués. One of the bridesmaids noticed that on my dress, the zipper was badly buckling, it looked like the zipper was going in a roller coaster down my back where as hers and another bridesmaids zippers were perfect so she voiced that to Chin. Chin was always there when we tried on the dressses because thats her job right? She’s supposed to make sure that everything is perfect and that what was supposed to be altered from the fitting prior was done, as a “designer” she should know that a zipper should NOT look the way my zipper looked and yet she said nothing, that really boiled my blood and I mentioned that to the bride, after that was discovered I started to walk to my bag to put on my shoes so that I can see the cut of the dress with the shoes, Chin immediately said “No, take the dress off because he has to add the appliqués and once that is done you’ll try it on with the shoes” I insisted on putting the shoes on because I was eager to see how it looked and she again said “No”. I took the dress off and so did the others and the dresses were taken downstairs to be “finalized”, we never saw the dresses again during that fitting. We waited there for 4 hours and no progress was made on our dresses we saw people come and go with their items and after becoming increasingly concerned, we asked Chin to explain why we were still waiting after she had said that only the appliqués had to be added(two appliqués on each shoulder) her response was that the guy downstairs doing the alterations was getting nervous and frustrated because he feels like he is being pressured and that the bride would not be taking the dresses home as promised but that we will have to come back the following weekend. Now, I don’t own a business but from common sense I know that paying customers should NEVER be addressed in that manner PERIOD. The following weekend, two weeks before the wedding, the dresses were “done”, I tried on my dress with my shoes and immediately noticed that my dress was not like the other dresses, it was straight in the front with no flair, it was supposed to be a mermaid dress. I demanded that a new dress be made and after a heated back and forth AND being insulted by Chin, her final offer was #1 take a day off from work, meaning jeapordize my NEW job AND lose a day of pay(because she didn’t want her boss to know that she made me a new dress) or #2 deduct $100 off the price, I went with option #2 The day of the wedding I put on my dress, I had unfinished seams that looked like holes all down both sides of the dress and I wasn’t the only one in the bridal party that had issues. HORRIBLE work & customer service, over priced GARBAGE. PURE TRASH!"
"If being unique is your thing then this is the place to shop. Custom Wedding, Party, and Prom dresses that will make you stand out from the rest. If you can think it they can make it worth every penny you may spend."
