The Erie Heights Housing Authority (HACE) is more than just a provider of housing; it is a cornerstone of the community dedicated to enhancing the lives of its residents. Cherie Kinem, appointed Deputy Director as of June 28, 2024, has been a vital part of the organization for the past eight years as the Resident Initiatives Coordinator. With over 30 years of service to HACE residents, Cherie brings invaluable knowledge and leadership skills to her new role.

The Pennsylvania Association of Housing & Redevelopment Agencies (PAHRA) has also recognized the positive impact of HACE’s initiatives by awarding scholarships to stellar students, emphasizing the importance of education and economic growth within the community.

HACE’s commitment to its residents is encapsulated in its 2024 theme, "It’s All About People." This theme highlights the diverse programs and services offered, as well as the successes of its residents. Whether through the newly announced Rental Assistance Program or the reopening of the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Wait List, HACE continues to be a beacon of support and opportunity for those it serves.
