"My husband and I felt very rushed when placing an $800 catering order over the phone even though we were told anyone could take our order at anytime during business hours. I got the impression that our multiple calls and questions were annoying to the woman we spoke to over the course of 2 days. We were told that meatballs could not be placed in a separate pan to accomodate our vegetarian eaters, but instead they would place a small amount of plain pasta in a separate pan. This did not make much sense to us, because if placing pasta in a separate pan why not place meatballs in a separate pan? We were simply told "they don't like to do that". Also, we have allergen issues in our family, and they will not work with you on this issue. We eat out every week, at many businesses that serve both nut dishes and seafood, and have never encountered an issue where the kitchen was unable to prepare the food in a sanitized area of the kitchen with clean utensils. We were already prepared to pay an extra fee for the chef to prepare our food for a Sunday event since the market is closed on Sundays. We just did not understand why if they were most likely only preparing our food that day why wiping down the kitchen prep surfaces and using clean utensils would have been an issue. I cannot imagine how any business in this day and age and economy could simply turn away business in this way. I was truly shocked at how quickly the woman I spoke with was to cancel our order. She seemed eager to do so. My husband is in the food service industry, and we just have never had an experience like this. We have eaten their food before at several events as well as ordered from their food truck and the food has been delicious. My daughter specifically requested their food for our event. It was both a frustrating and disappointing experience talking to this woman on the phone. We just felt she did not care one way or the other whether we placed our order."
