"My daughter and I came to this establishment with a 18 month old and 4 year old to do our shopping. We had to buggies of groceries, and as we were leaving, this employee ran up to us telling us we didn't pay for our food because someone told her that. I remind you that we were checked out by an employee. Therefore, my daughter reached in her purse and pulled out her receipt. I've never felt so racially profiled with my grandkids there. I'll never go back to this establishment again."
"Giant Eagle is an amazing store and has been here leveling up even when new store's are brought to the area here we have Giant Eagle still standing and welcoming everyone.. Let's be honest this is the store you go to when you want a nice quiet place to shop and actual fresh food. My suggestion would only be to expand I understand the simplicity for the quiet crowd but there is a perfect spot for a Giant Eagle in the old IGA building in the Lincoln Knolls Plaza on the East Side of Youngstown where I can promise my grandmother and Aunt will be very excited to be there almost every day, especially if you put a Giant Eagle farmer's market so we don't have to wait for Wednesday and Sunday for the Flea Market. and Get Go could sit somewhere between the Ohio and Pennsylvania State Line."
"Surprisingly overall low prices. When I was price matching I found they had quite a few items I'd bought at their competitors for lower prices. Happy to see the selections have been fresh everytime I've shopped there. They also have a nice produce section and I'm a fan of their self checkout so that's a plus too."
