"Do not do business with her at his very national airport their employees never answer the phone, misleading information in regards to using your debit or credit card when it came time for me to pick up my vehicle. They told me that I need a certain amount on my credit card to get it which I would’ve been happy to transfer enough money in my credit card to finish off the purchase, but since it was on a weekend, and my credit card company takes two days to do it. I was not able to get the rental car had been able to reach somebody on the phone which I’ve been trying to call them for four days in a row I would have been able to get get a hold of somebody that would’ve had enough time to put enough money on the credit card for the complete purchase and now I can’t get my money back for the original down payment. Do not do business with this company I wish I could get zero stars"
"Legit the worst/ most bizzare experience I've ever had with any company in my life and the only time I've felt the need to say the cliche line "if I could give zero stars I would" in a review. I got a flat tire and called their roadside assistance. They gave me a few choices. One was to pay $100 for them to come out and replace the tire. Another option was to go to a tire shop and pay for a tire out of my own pocket (I laughed, but looking back would've been better off with either of these) or to inconveniently drive out of my way to the Airport Hertz to exchange the car. I chose to put on the spare myself and drive to the Airport location for an exchange. I had to fill out a form and told the employee (black guy with ramen shirt. I would seriously either fire or drug test him with how incompetent he was with everything) several times I was there to get another car because of the flat. He directs me to the window and I also tell them I need another car due to a flat. They proceed to tell me the guy closed my contract instead of keeping it open and just giving me another car. I have no idea how that's even possible since I literally told him I needed to exchange for another car a handful of times. Needless to say they didn't offer any type of help or discount or anything. I went off on that guy from at least 10 feet away and the manager claimed I tried to attack him. I was able to get a ride home but as we were exiting the airport I realized they never even asked me for the key fob to the car!! I took a pic of it on the counter for proof upon returning it and one of the employees goes "are you taking a picture of me?" I said "Nope, just proving I am returning the keys. But I can take pictures of you because it's legal." They proceed to tell me they're calling the cops. Apparently they didn't believe me that taking pictures of them in public is legal. A decent company makes things right when they're at fault. The service here speaks for itself; I couldn't make this stuff up. Also, when the customers in front of you also have nothing else to say but complaints (guy had to fill fluids, buy a replacement battery for the fob, etc and a lady that said her EV wouldnt hold a charge. That says it all."
"Hello just to inform you that it may be obvious for some people, but DON'T leave your car key inside the car. I simply put my luggage and handbag (with key and mobile) on the passenger seat before going to the driver seat to leave for the airport, and in a few seconds the car was locked with the key inside. I do this all the time with my personal car. I was not aware that cars would lock itself with keys inside (it seems some models don't have a key detector). Kia (KN) does that and it took over 90 min. for someone to come unlock it. I almost missed my flight. I find this extremely dangerous (what if I'm in middle of nowhere and/or I have a baby inside??). The worst is when I took the time to inform Hertz to advise their future customers of this potential risk, they made me feel like an idiot. I'm sorry, this is NOT an obvious behavior for a car and as an engineer it makes absolutely NO sense. Be careful. Other than that, the car was fine."
"Avoid, if possible. This is the only location with the Hertz Gold Canopy in Pittsburgh. However, it seems this is the only location in the US that doesn't honor status. For months now, PIT airport Hertz upgrades everyone to Presidential. While this may seem nice, Gold is closed and Five Star is almost non-existent. The car quantity is low, unless you look at the "reserved" areas. From how it seems, you must request and pay a large premium to receive a nice car. Everything in Presidential is what may be found in the lowest tier at other Hertz locations. Having status no longer means anything at this location. You will be better off renting from a local Hertz. This is not Gold Canopy service, and certainly not a good selection. Rent through Avis and save yourself a headache."
