"I was called back in less than a minute! I met with Andrew Wurster the NP. And then Erica Haley took me right back and we began training on how to give myself shots of DDAVP. My first attempt was a complete failure and I sort of had a melt down. But Erica, God Bless her, had extreme patience and encouraged me every step of the way!! My second attempt was successful thanks to Erica’s tips. I can’t rave enough about everyone at WNY Blood Care! From Tia the receptionist to Dr Kotowski, my hematologist and director. And everyone in between. Especially Erica and Andrew. They knew I was scared and felt overwhelmed but were encouraging and patient the whole time!!!"
