"The staff is a nightmare to deal with. I don't understand how this place functions honestly. My therapist is amazing and my prescriber is okay but I've had so many issues with getting appointments cancelled, not being able to reach anyone, etc. Honestly the most aggrivating company to deal with. For new clients it takes so long to get an appointment, I've been swapped around between 6 therapists in 4 years, I've had a prescriber not answer calls for weeks, making me go forced cold turkey to a majority of my meds and get super sick for about a week. Therapists are professional and helpful, but every other aspect of best self is horrible to deal with and the most frustrating ."

"If I could give this place no stars I would. This place is terrible avoid this place. They don't care about your mental health at all. I have had 4 different counselors in a year! I recently saw someone named Shauna who never answered phone calls, who never called to set appointments and always rushed appointments. It's supposed to be 45 minutes and instead she'd talk only for 20 then shoo me out. I decided to switch and I had 2 appointments with the new person before she to left. When I called because I hadn't heard from her in a while they SENT ME BACK TO SHAUNA!!! Not to mention my psychiatrist left while I was waiting for our appt and no one even told me she was gone until I got a text from her weeks after she was gone. I have never been to such a terrible center. Don't bother with this place unless you want cr*ppy services."

"I went there twice, to see, a therapist, all she was able to do was What she called an intake and assessments, then she sent me to a nurse Who did another assessment and then the nurse Made an appointment to se some very strange woman, I think may have been a nurse practitioner, not really sure she was a very odd person, Who talked to me mostly with her back to me. After asking her if I could be tested for a chemical imbalance, lack of Serotonin or some thing she said, the only way they could do that was to cracked my head open. Unbelievable, so unprofessional. Is this really the way you talk to people who are hurting? I just Got up and walked out. So I've been there four times the one on Delaware. Are these people really there to help you? So after four visits there I'm still out on my own. Thanks for nothing."

"I will start this out by saying that when my daughters original counselor was there I had NO issues. We both loved her. Well she left for other employment and they were supposed to connect my daughter with another counselor. After about 3 weeks of no contact there was an urgent issue that she needed to see someone right away, well as of today I still have yet to receive a call from that office to connect her with a new counselor. I've left messages. I've been interrupted and thrown into the supervisors voice-mail when the receptionist didn't want to deal with me. I've been ignored while begging for help for my daughter. I've been assured (when they transferred me to the wrong person) that she would notify her supervisor and have someone check in by phone once a week (hasn't happened). February was my daughter's last appointment. It's been 2 months with no contact from this office. Thankfully someone at my work suggested a different best self location, and said they have been very happy there. So I asked that she be transferred. Even trying to get a call back from someone regarding the transfer has been difficult. I just don't understand how they are ok letting a child slip through the cracks like this. She had an appointment once a week with her counselor and now hasn't been seen by anyone in 8 weeks and I can't get so much as a return phone call. Even when I told them she was in crisis. Shame on you guys. Do better."

"I had a bad experience 6 years ago with a female counselor. My male friend dropped my son and I off for an appointment in the back of the building. He picked my son up and started tickling him out and walks the counselor through the back door. She screams is this your husband because him and I were separated at the time. My friend and I looked at each other answered no as we laughed at the thought of it. She continued to ask me is this my husband despite the fact that we had answered her question multiple times. She even took my young son into her office then asked him repeatedly if that was his father. Despite our best efforts to tell her that this was not my husband or his father, she continued to ask! We left the office, I called to speak with her supervisor because I was upset about what had happened. She apologized and I requested that we use a different location because I did not want to continue seeing that counselor. No means no and there was no reason to carry on."
