"From the time I checked in I was very impressed with the professionalism and manner which I was treated, the whole staff ( nurses, Physicians assistants , technicians, food service and of course the doctor. Their attention and general concern made my stay more comfortable and I felt like I was in very good hands ( I have to admit I was very stressed about this visit before I checked in). I was in the epilepsy study unit were the goal was for my seizures to happen so they could get a better understanding why I was having them .When I did have a major one my daughter was there with me and she said she was very impressed with the response time and actions of everyone on the team ( like a well oiled machine). If you’re looking at these reviews to determine if you want to have your studies done here I highly recommend it"

"I would NEVER return to children’s hospital. We had a newborn baby (3 days old) who needed care and the nurses were HORRIBLE. Tracey should not be allowed near kids with IV’s. She was extremely argumentative and attempted an IV 4 times before I told her to stop. ESPECIALLY since we didn’t even know if we needed one. Unacceptable. We were at the hospital for over 5.5 hours with a 3 day old and just waited around with no answers. The nurses and staff had shown 0 concern and didn’t seem to care to be there. I will never recommend or go to this hospital again. We had delivered at Mercy Hospital and every staff member we encountered there were wonderful. You can tell they love their job unlike these nurses who didn’t want to be there. If you do not have to go here, DON’T! Save yourself the frustration and time."

"Two different instances with both my kids. My first born went in for strep and a possible reaction was misdiagnosed and was ballooning as they discharged her. They wouldn’t listen to my concerns by the time I got home my child was unrecognizable and when we got there for the third time! They were incredibly nasty telling me that “oh well she isn’t short of breath so she’s fine” couple minutes later her blood pressure dropped and they finally rushed her back. Was incredibly sickened by how they could look at her in so much pain and say she’s fine while she looks like a huge balloon. Ended up having serum sickness.they wouldn’t take the time to do any blood work or really look at her after I begged repeatedly that it wasn’t a random reaction to meds! With my other daughter went in for concussion same thing dealing with some rude staff took 6 hours to go back in total we were there for 8.5 hours! 8.5 hours for a concussion with no scan no nothing just checked her reflexes and was told to keep an eye on her. The whole time waiting on a simple answer and nurses are chit chatting laughing having a good time behind the nurses station but no one can make it a point to help you. I am not understanding how you can make these kids wait for hours and treat parents like garbage. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THEIR ER. I am not one to post reviews but something needs to change. If I could give negative stars I would."

"Absolute worst hospital I've ever been to in my life. If I could give them a negative rating I would. Not only have they committed medical malpractice with my two newborn infants but have the nerve to try to blame me and my wife for it. Absolutely atrocious. The staff has been extremely rude and hostile towards us on multiple occasions, not to mention they don't update you with any info about what is going on with your children. You have to go force an answer out of them. They try to use "short staffing" as an excuse and that's pathetic and no excuse at all. The floating nurse even admitted she was from the cancer unit and wasn't really trained for the tasks they were asking her to perform. Not to mention no blankets, pillows, water nothing to comfort the kids it's just absolutely horrible I cannot stress this enough DO NOT bring your children here. I would go to any catholic charity hospital in a heart beat before I ever go to children's again. Abysmal."
