"I cannot comment on the doctors, but I will relate my story. My father, who is about to turn 88, scheduled with this group last Oct. The reason we needed a new endocrine doctor was because his current one developed health issues and unexpectedly retired. We had to wait SIX MONTHS for a new patient visit. This is no mean feat when you're 87. Unfortunately, on the day of his appointment, he had wound up in the hospital for four days and we couldn't keep the appointment. THE OFFICE DOESN'T CARE. Oh, well they could reschedule for another six months and put us on a waiting list. I called today now that my father has finally made it home to check the appointment. I had called from the cardiac care unit. Oh, we weren't actually rescheduled and it will be at least ANOTHER SIX MONTHS for another appointment. I'm glad they're so busy that they can't think outside the box and consider extenuating circumstances. I wonder if this is Jefferson policy or if they doctors are actually aware. Being so busy, they won't miss my father and we will try another route. After all, at 88, how long do we have to wait?"

"Good luck getting a appt, first the receptionist (liz) will ask your all of your personal information as if she is the doctor then she will make you feel as if your bothering her, she will then get nasty and say you are going to need all of your info faxed before they will even hold a appt for you. After your doctor sends your info multiple times and you argue with them l. They will finally give you a appt months out"

"Do not use this Doctor or his practice, he has left me hanging for over six months and is not worthy of anybody's trust. Would have rated "0" if possible. After months waiting for an appointment I went to Dr Slusser on 10/11/2022 for a prescription refill, was asked if I felt a difference without the medicine and I told him no. I did not notice a difference until months later. He became very upset with me and his bedside manner became very aggravating. He said he would arrange for the refill. The pharmacy did not get the prescription and I followed up with him. The prescription was never sent. Over the next four months he delayed all action on the refill, did not communicate with the pharmacy, BeneCard or myself and then requested clearance from my cardiologist which he rejected because it did not specificstly mention the drug he was prescribing. Cardiologist sent a second letter which apparently still did not suffice. Calling the office and leaving messages did not result in a response. It is now 2/8/2023, still no word from his office and I have an appointment with a new Endocrinologist in two weeks."

"I have never been overly thrilled with this office. My past 3 appointments in a row have been pushed back due to over-booking appointments and other delays. I walked out of my appointment today without even being seen by the doctor. I left my records and told them for the doctor to call me with whatever changes he wanted to make...he still has not called. Today was my final visit to this practice and I definitely wouldn't recommend to others...really disappointed."
