Patients will receive specific preparation instructions tailored to their situation. The procedure itself is painless and typically lasts between 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the size and location of the treatment area. During the procedure, patients are constantly monitored, and communication with the care team is maintained through a microphone.

Post-procedure, patients may feel groggy due to relaxation medications and should arrange for someone to drive them home if a frame was used. Most patients can return to their regular activities the next day. Follow-up imaging tests, such as CT or MRI scans, will be scheduled to monitor the treatment's progress.
