"The administration handlers of this medical establishment are beyond unprofessional and disorganized. I have nothing to say about any healthcare professionals because I never was treated as a patient. For me, the problem was the staff. I believe a group of 3-year-olds would do much better work! I called for an appointment and was given an appointment in 6 weeks. They wanted me to upload some documents. I told them I couldn't do that because I wasn't not too computer savvy. I told them I would come earlier than my appointment time and fill out the necessary paperwork. To make things easier for them, I called the insurance companies and was told that they would pay for my treatment. I informed them of this information and gave them all my insurance information and the numbers of the insurances, if they wanted to call and verify. They checked and told me all was fine. The day before my appointment one representative called me and told me that I never uploaded paperwork to them. I informed her that I was told that it was fine to do the paperwork on the day of my appointment. She checked with coworkers and told me all was fine and would see me tomorrow. About 30 minutes later, someone else called and told me I had to upload my paperwork. I told her of my previous agreement with the staff. I told her the name of the person that called me before she did and that I was told all was cleared. She said, it wasn't all cleared and I would have to upload the paperwork because it's mandatory and because I provided them with incorrect insurance and policy number information. I asked, why would they wait 6 weeks to tell me that I provided incorrect insurance information? She couldn't explain. I cancelled the appointment! UNREAL!!!"
"Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this place for anything at all. From the moment I called to make an appointment to the minute I got my lab results was the most unprofessional medical related experience I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the first phone call in January 2024…I was told by my doctor they can send you an at home sleep test kit if you don’t want to sleep in their lab. My initial consultation with the institute I was told they no longer do that. After my doctor reassured me they send these kits out I called back and asked for a manager. It was a cat and mouse game until April when they finally admitted they send out these kits but I would have to pay a $45 shipping charge. I was fine with that and I paid the shipping fee. After weekly follow-up phone calls questioning the status of my sleep kit I finally received it 2 months later. The kit came with no instructions. I had no idea what to do. I had to call to get instructions only for them to say they would call me back which they didn’t. But they did send me a text message with a link to an instructional video a day later. Completed the test and sent it back. They had the test kit back June 7th. Told me 2-3 days for results. I just got my results today 1 month later. Every time I called I got preprogrammed answers including we will call you back with an update and they don’t call you back. It seems like the call center is out sourced to some foreign country because you can barely understand the agents. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review but the public needs to know that this place is horrendous and they should use any other sleep study lab but them."
"The experience working with Sleep Disorder Institute has been terrible. They never follow up, are disorganized, and don't submit request for additional procedures to my insurance provider. I would strongly recommend seeking another provider."
"I not only had a great experience working with the staff at Sleep Disorders Institute when getting my at-home sleep test information and sleep study done, but I also had to reach out to the office recently to have some information faxed to my new insurance provider for some CPAP materials. Ferhan in the office was SO helpful. He took down the fax number, all the information that my new insurance provider needed, my address, DOB, etc. and repeated every number and word I provided to ensure the information was accurate, and even made sure that the address he was providing was up-to-date with the one they had on file. It was a pleasant interaction, very prompt, and I was confident that my new insurance provider would get what they needed from SDI. Thank you, Ferhan and Sleep Disorders Institute!!!!"
"If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my original test. When I got there I sat there for over an hour until they realized I was still waiting to go up for the test. Took the test fine.. Got the results with the next week. Which was great, but what happened next is criminal. Was told I had a serve case (either stopped breathing or had very shallow breathing 37 times an hour). Scheduled an exam for a Friday (I work during the week so it’s hard to do a week day test). Had the 1st one cancelled (apparently they could find a tech). had the second appointment cancelled (same reason). Just had the third one cancelled (tech doesn’t feel good, aka it’s raining and they didn’t feel like working). At this point in over 2 mos from my original test. So angry right now. How is this a way to run a business? You’re putting people’s lives in danger."
