"Dr. Nazem is great. I did two cycles with her. Fantastic experience, all staff are professional and efficient. Never had long wait times for the regular bloodwork/ultrasounds. Rating lower because the finance team, mainly post procedure, is horrible. I had questions about a bill and spent three weeks calling regularly with no one available and no one returning my call. I finally emailed my care coordinators and they started helping me get attention. Once my questions were answered and I was ready to pay my bill, I ran into the same issue - online system hasn’t been working for over a week and no one on finance will call me back to take payment. If you don’t need to get in touch with finance and are ok mailing checks - highly recommend RMA"
"I chose RMA as the clinic for my egg freezing after doing research about their success rates and after having an initial conversation with Dr. Nazem. I was so pleased with the conversation and with my research that I cancelled consultations with other clinics in order to move things along with RMA. It was the best decision. You are in the best hands under the care of their predominantly female led team. Every doctor, nurse, and staff member led with kindness and empathy. Whether I was asking questions or they were going over results, each team member was extremely thorough with their explanations. I had a fair amount of trouble understanding how to mix the injections and was given step by step instructions by one of the nurses in the office the following appointment. The day of the procedure, I was inevitably a little nervous and overwhelmed with all the commotion. From the front desk team member to the anesthesiologist, I was comforted and welcomed with absolute kindness. This made all the difference in my experience. I would without a doubt reccommend RMA to anyone looking for fertility treatment and want to thank the Westside team, Eastside weekend team, and the Operating Room team for such a positive experience."
"Saw Dr Stein. Just bad all around, and expensive. Started with IUI and overresponded; way to many eggs and visual side effects.when moving to IVF was given super high dose of medication despite my obvious sensitivity to fertility meds, simply given standard dose due to my age. My AMH was equivalent to a 32 year old despite being 40 but No attention given to my specific case, just given the same old procedure for those with diminished ovarian reserve (which was NOT my problem). Despite several eggs fertilized (like 20) only 1 made to day 5. Dr Stein didn’t inform us of genetic testing results and when we spoke to nurse on follow up appt she mentioned the abnormal embryo… what? We said. She said “oh nobody told you guys?” She left quickly and she could be overheard in next room speaking to another nurse who comforted her “it’s not your fault you didn’t know they weren’t told.” Um? Medical note keeping? I mentioned to Dr Stein my suspicion the the medication level was way too high and he dismissed this, moved on to a long lupron protocol with just slightly lower dose of medication. Same abysmal results but no ideas after that. The worst was getting my blood taken. Some poor woman left the bloodwork area and spoke cheerfully with the medical assistants about being back to cycle again after needing a break for a few months. About 10 seconds after she left they laughed and stated their disbelief that she was back try again, with one saying “if she gets pregnant I’ll by you lunch.” They probably thought nobody could hear them but they were only about 6 feet away from me and not being particularly quiet. I went to Generation Next and had 3 normal embryos after 2 rounds of gentler IVF tailored to my individual needs. RMA has no creativity or empathy in their approach. Go elsewhere!"
"I can’t say enough good things about RMA. We were at another clinic for almost a year, and transferring to RMA was the best decision we made. Dr. Stein is straightforward and always took the time to answer questions or meet with us. His whole team - Rachel and Jackie in particular - are incredible and so responsive and thorough. The level of communication and transparency at RMA is unmatched. We’re so grateful to Dr. Stein and RMA for helping make our dreams come true!"
"Dr. Stein was absolutely amazing throughout our pregnancy journey and oversaw us through two successful IVF transfers. Unfortunately due to heartbreaking medical complications we had to terminate our first pregnancy and when we first learned of the news Dr. Stein made himself available after hours for an emergency consultation. This was a very hard time for us and he showed compassion, understanding and gave us hope for a better tomorrow and that we would be able to restart the IVF process once my wife healed. My wife and I had moved after our first transfer, and even though there was a closer RMA clinic 30 minutes away we decided to travel an hour and a half each week to see Dr. Stein for our weekly checkups. While an inconvenience for us to travel, we were not just another number to number to Dr. Stein. He always knew our chart and our situation, which gave us tremendous confidence. We are very grateful for Dr. Stein and highly recommend his expertise."
