"All these bad ratings are accurate. The first couple visits I had were good. There is a setting they like to mess with that pulls your blood faster or slower. And it seems to be not based off the patient but just how they prefer. One of the times I went the machine kept stopping every like 2 minutes. They said it was pulling too fast. Then it just stopped pulling, they blew my vein and had to use the other arm with smaller veins. I had 2 bruised arms. Then the last time I went I was trying to prevent that from happening, I kept telling the nurse not to pull the blood so fast. She then kept adjusting the needle which made blood start leaking from the needle. I needed the nurse but I didn't need to stay the 15 minutes. When I went back the dr just ignored my reaction so the nurse said he probably just missed it. I spoke with the manager yesterday & she just kept repeating herself with there's nothing she can do. How about you re-evaluate the trainings. There's about a hand full of good nurses who aren't rude, if you try and correct them they will make all visits going further miserable. Don't bother telling me how to contact you on the website. I already did."
"Dawn is so amazing! She did my physical and was the nurse that came out when I was feeling lightheaded. You can tell she loves what she does and she really cares about the donors. Please share with Dawn that she made my first time donating so comfortable and that I think she’s awesome :)"
"This was my first donation since they recieved newer and better machines. Everyone in the establishment was super personable and genuinely nice. The people on the floor were extremely knowledgeable and was able to insert the needle on the first try without having to get someone to help or even wiggle it around. In the past I had a quite a few instances where the person inserting the needle failed multiple times and it was extremely painful and I bruised extremely bad. The facility was clean and seemed like it was in perfect condition. The physical went super fast but thorough. I will no longer dread going to donate and I’m super happy about the major improvements at the Coldwater location!"
"The atmosphere is beyond amazing, the staff truly is a joy, however the reason I give 3/5 stars is because I made it through the whole process of that building.. to the back where they start the plasma donation process, I was rejected… for a very good reasons of my veins being too small that day, however I feel as if my time was wasted and that management needs to find a better set up for this and not waste an hour of a persons day who only has good intentions. Other than that.. honestly a great place!"
"I had low protein and had to wait a month to return. One of the leads/managers did my stick on 5/15 and immediately asked "Hey haven't seen you in a while! Been ok?" Some times you go places often and it becomes just another thing you're doing, but that acknowledgement and notice felt nice and significant in a way. Made me feel appreciated more than the donation fee/reward has in a long time. Trey was great."
