"Went here with severe neck pain from bilateral foraminal stenosis with a pain scale of 9/10. Told the doctor i was in so much pain i want to die. They gave me a single percoset, made me wait 20 minutes, when they came back i told them it didn’t help whatsoever. They said thats all they can do for me and sent me on my way without a prescription of any kind, offering to refer me to a neurologist, which i clearly stated i already had, and just needed to make it until my appointment was scheduled. Waited 3 hours to be seen, the place is run like an urgent care, but charges the ER rate for deductibles. Do not go here, go to a real ER that can actually handle a real Emergency. I will never be back and will not be paying this overpriced bill for a pill that costs less than a quarter."
"After waiting 7 hours to be seen at a different facility CC Akron General Fairlawn Emergency was efficient and reliable. We were greeted by the security guard who had empathy of my loved one staying seated to go through security. They provided us with a room & care as soon as we walked into the door. The patient care & customer service was exceptional from Environmental Services to the Physician Assistant. Shawn (nurse) was very nice & explained everything thoroughly. Patient rooms were clean and organized."
"I was unsure of going here considering the reviews. But it was the closest to me and I was in a lot of pain. I will just say I can’t believe the reviews because my experience was incredible. I’ve never been to an ER and waiting less than an hour to be seen. When I went here I was called back in less than 5 minutes. I saw the nurse and doctor within 15 minutes of being in my room. & I was giving medication to help the pain within 30 minutes. Every person I saw was extremely nice, and helpful. I will be coming here for any further ER visits."
"I rarely post reviews, but I almost didn’t go here because of the negative rating, so I needed to share my excellent experience. I went to the ER feeling awful with a croup-like cough. I got there a few minutes after midnight, was seen almost immediately and received terrific treatment from every person I interacted with. I was out by 2 am having tested positive for the flu. My cough had settled after a breathing treatment and some steroids. I would use this ER again in a minute."
