"Dr Milo is a great but who ever answers phones and the nurses are completely rude, uncalled for behavior and the way I was just treated by whoever I spoke to (didn’t even tell me her name!) was completely uncalled for! She should be ashamed in herself!"
"I will be contacting my attorney. The treatment was beyond horrific! Dr. Good is amazing but that whole office could be dismantled and parents would cheer! Do better Akron ENT!"
"The biggest mistake I did as a parent was go through ENT at ACH. My son has issues with fluid behind his ears and had tubes placed. Although, the surgery was successful. The way ACH’s operates their ENT department is extremely disappointing. We started to experience complications with my son’s tubes… the staff and physicians at ACH are extremely dismissive, do not follow-through on call backs, or take do not take parent concerns seriously. To the point where our primary care (who is a ACH physician) and to call and advocate for us to be seen same day as my son was experiencing issues for so long and the ENT department was dismissive and honestly, quite rude. I am a well educated parent, and an advocate for my child - please do not send your children here unless it’s your only option. You will save your time and money + hopefully provide your child with better quality care by exploring other ENT physicians / practices."
"I give the doctor 5 stars but the RECEPTION STAFF ZERO, I am writing this on behalf of my traumatized daughter in law who was treated with the utmost disrespect my the receptionist who obviously knew how vapid she was as she had her name tag placed upside down on the desk. She not only terrorized her in person but also when she tried to call back to make a surgery appointment on the number SHE gave her to call in after refusing to help her while she was there because "it's not in my job description" which she made clear several times. This woman has no business dealing with the public let alone worried scared parents trying to help their children. She needs sensitivity training or an updated job description that includes decency to other humans. If that isn't possible she needs let go, and the other receptionist who sat there saying nothing and actually transferred my daughter in law back to the cow when she called after getting no help while there just to get yelled at again, that it wasn't her job even after giving her the number to call in on. She needs written up to for allowing that woman to terrorize her a second time. The doctor was amazing after many months of trying to get my grandson help being written off as a young mother he finally listened and in the knick of time as the prognosis was not good. So imagine being told all this and having to deal with this unprofessional, unfriendly basically uncivilized woman. AT A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FACILITY Just have your armour on parents be willing to stand up for yourselves and advocate for your kids and tell this horrible horrible woman if you have the unlucky day of running across her path. She will not help even when it is her job as when my daughter in law was standing there to get checked in she was rudely asked if she needed something. Well yes she needed checked in which IS in your job description. Doctors your staff will keep people away, it's time to deal with them."
"Our experience could not have been worse. It started with a 2 hour wait. Once brought back we were informed the hearing test we were there for wasn’t scheduled correctly and couldn’t be done today. The doctor still saw my son, and upon examination wanted to clean some wax out of his ears. He recommended we lay on top of our 5 year old and hold his hands down to have this done. At no point did he take the time to talk to our son or show him what was going to be done. This went about as well as any parent could expect. To top it off, he cut the inside of his ear and we left with blood still coming out of his ear. He ended by saying he needed to use drops for 3 weeks and he’d check again then, except while checking out the receptionist told us the next open appointment was 4 months out! This is the type of experience I’m sure my son won’t forget, and I fear he’ll now always be scared of any medical appointments. I’m most angry with myself for letting this appointment go on as long as it did. I hope any parents seeing this will think twice before coming here, and reach out to their primary care physician for a referral elsewhere"
