"We took my granddaughter Paizlee to get her very first bloodwork and she was so scared we thought she wouldn’t do it. We want to say Katie was great with her. She talked with her the whole time and explained a lot, it went smooth and quick! Thank you Katie for all you do!"
"3 staff members in the back, only 1 girl upfront and no one to help me. Talking about a new bag, putting on deodorant. Because I was standing there looking at them they shut the door."
"Showed up to the Lab on Sunday for my brothers preoperative covid testing for his surgery on Wednesday and of course no one was there! I understand they are closed technically but policy is is that on Sundays from 8am to noon they MUST be open to do preop covid tests. We had to have a security gaurd come down to even see if someone was there or not. We waited and waited for about 30 minutes before we finally gave up and left. And this is NOT the first time lab staff have chosen to not dhow up on time on sundays. We have had this experience before and had staff show up an hour late all due to they didnt think people would come in that early. If a time is advertised, the time should be followed."
"Went to get my blood drawn today. I have pretty decent veins, and I understand that someone could be stressed after dealing with crying screaming children, but there was no reason my phlebotomist needed to be rude, and her technique was awful. I asked her to pop the band because it was hurting me, she wouldn’t, I also got stuck in my basalic vein, instead of going for my very obvious cephalic and median cubital veins. Now my arm is in more pain then needed but other than that went quick and easy."
"I have a 5 month old baby. They had to draw blood and instead of just sticking and hoping for the best the lady took the time to evaluate the arm, then decide to switch and wait for the tourniquet to get the vein to elevate. From there it was a smooth single poke. (This was on June 29)."
