"Please don't fill up city bus. Locals are denied transportation when city bus full of tourists. It's 45 $ for a cab to bus stop near glacier. Most cabs fit 6 passengers. Find a fellow tourist and split the fare."

"You know dudes & dudettes after talking to one of my friends that lives in Juneau AK he told that this is bloody ridiculous for Capital Transit to let the dang tourists to over crowd the dam bus like the idjit's they all are they should at least let in ten or eleven tourists instead of letting in the rest of them because the Juneau Locals calls all of it bloody ridiculous to talk bad things behind the bus drivers backs and the tourists and say this is bloody ridiculous and they couldn't agree more on it to let in only ten or eleven tourists so there be room for the Juneau Locals instead of seeing them fighting to get on or arguing with each other i sense there going to be a fight between Juneau locals and the tourists along with others to avoid all that how about that idea to let only ten or eleven tourist on the bus don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆"

"Very cheap- $2 per ride or $5 for a day pass, friendly drivers who provide helpful information for tourists. Shame there's no airport bus at the moment!"

"This is the only bus service for locals. They have maintained consistent availability throughout the pandemic. When buses were consistently overfull due to social distancing protocol, they doubled service and they simply waved the passenger fee and loaded through the back door to maintain the health and safety of the drivers. They have built a new transit center and currently have another under construction... They definitely have been bringing capital transportation services to the Capital. They have commuter service that starts early in the morning and extends past the regular route schedule well into the evening. They have been upgrading sheltered stops for rider comfort and safety. If you don't live close to a bus stop, they will accommodate you by stopping for you when you signal them, "usually with a flashlight" on the road in between the sanctioned and documented bus stops. Although I personally have been bypassed, and I know a number of people with similar stories of the bus blatantly careens past... But it hasn't happened brecently. I can only hope that heartless driver moved on to grander things."

"I was a bit apprehensive using this system as a tourist, but it turned out to be a cheap and easy way to get around town. The bus won't get you to places like the glacier or shrine, but we were able to get to some other tourist areas, such as Douglas Island, Glacier Gardens and Auke Lake. And it's cool, because it takes you through the residential areas that tourists don't normally see. So with just a $2.00 fare, it's a FAR better option than taking a taxi. Some of the drivers were friendlier than others, but it was overall a good experience. We were lucky that they were never super crowded. I really liked the express bus. The driver was super friendly, and it zips you across town in 20 minutes. We were actually planning to take it to the airport, and were disappointed to learn it doesn't run up there on the weekends."
