Budget Car Rental

"What a scam. Booked on Priceline, when I got to Juneau the counter was closed. There was a note saying that there was a late policy saying if anyone was 2 hours late, they forfeit their rental due to inventory. Nothing in the confirmation I received said anything about this. Nothing in my reservation said I couldn’t pick up last 8pm. They took my money knowing damn well I couldn’t pick the car up."

"We rented a car from Budget online. There was no mention of restricted hours at all. Our flight got in after 11:30pm. The rental car desk closed at 8 pm. We stood in the rain in 40 degree temperatures trying to get a taxi. The first 2 refused us because they were called to pick up someone else. The 3rd one took us to our motel. We called Budget the next morning to get a car. They said our reservations were cancelled because we did not show up. We ask to rent a new car and they said they had no cars for the entire week. Terrible service!"

"Don’t rent from here!!! It’s pointless to have a reservation and their customer service is terrible. They didn’t hold my reservation and said I was 2 hours late and didn’t call. They were closed when my flight arrived, didn’t answer the phone when I called to let them know of my late arrival or bothered to return my call after leaving a message. .Every rental car company was open when I arrived but budget. Don’t waste your time and money. I was left without due to all other agencies being booked. Avis even said I don’t want to give away my reservations like they did."

"This place is a scam. They close at 8pm and have a 2hr no show cancellation policy. I tried to call and tell them I'd be late but there was no answer. My flight was delayed and I didn't get in until 10pm, I show up in the morning to get the rental and they inform me of the policy and that they have no more cars to rent out. This companies policies are very inconsiderate of what traveling can be like."

"What a disaster. We booked what was already an exorbitantly priced car from them. The check-in time was 6am. We arrived after their supposed 2 he grace period, something they did not email or share in advance besides a small printed placard at the desk. It's also unprecedented to operate this way in my experience. When we arrived, they had given the car away! The only option we had was a 50% more expensive car from Avis. Needless to say, we won't be booking with Budget again, and filing a complaint with BBB and Budget corporate."
