"A friend gave me a ride from Valdez . I needed to repair wife's car which was still another 80 miles away. Now on foot.. Stayed the night . Snowing hard. Ride delayed till mid afternoon. Management said OK to stay till ride showed up w/o extra fees incurred. Good old stand up Alaskan spirit."

The rooms were simple but clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being next to a busy road. I felt safe, and the experience felt much more like staying with friends than staying in a motel. Highly recommend for short or long term stays!"
