"I have been sick 4-5 days, raging head, eye, sinus pain. I waited 1 hour, not a problem, glad to be seen, as Primary Provider couldn’t see me on short notice. I have great insurance etc.., don’t waste your time here, provider diagnosis, severe sinus infection. Wanted to write prescription, “called it wait and see prescription??” I said what’s that, never heard of that before! Ohhh well we like to wait 24-48 hrs. Before beginning antibiotic series. All the song and dance about antibiotics the misuse, overuse, b.s. I told her so you suggest I stay sick longer?? I’m healthy normally, haven’t taken antibiotics in 2 years?? Unbelievable!! The opposition was gross, it’s supposed to be a healing place, I felt like I was at a poor run deli counter!! Joke! Now I’m having side effects from medication, no one to call back. This town is pathetic for decency in medical care."
"Dr. Tarsitano is an exceptional 5-star doctor yet I give Providence Primary Care, at best, 3 stars. Basic tasks like lab orders or getting information via the phone become major hassles. Across various health providers in Anchorage there's a recurring issue where overworked or undertrained support staff create stress for patients due to poor communication, hindering access to necessary care. While I attempt to remain patient, the extreme inefficiency tests my tolerance."
"My girlfriend went here for a check up because she has been sick for the past week. Doctor Jacqueline Tarsitano has to be the worst doctor we have ever seen. Making comments about her career choice, saying she can’t do it because of her medical history. To make thing worse she didn’t even do anything, telling her she should go to the ER instead, did not help at all."
"It took me over 3 months to get my invoice for a physical resubmitted to my insurance with the correct code. I emailed and called numerous times. I recieved a bill for $900.00 . The appt was for a routine yearly physical but was billed as diagnostic, apparently because I asked about my shoulder aching. (Why would I have a blood panel done for a shoulder aching?) The people I spoke with were friendly (thus 3 star instead of 2) however, it took a long time to get resolved."
"Extremely difficult to get in touch with. Google doesn't really know this locations name so it constantly pulls up the Urgent Care number. There's one older lady that's aways very kind to me, the doctors are just as kind but always booked so far out. Beautiful and comfortable location inside of building."
