"by far the worst experience i have had at any dental or medical place with a dentist that seemingly doesn't care about the what the patient wants nor has the patients best interest in mind. I went in for an abscess that started forming, and while i thought nothing of it my friends told me to get it checked out as it could get very bad very suddenly. i chose this place since they were the closest place that would make an appointment within a week of calling. when i arrived they rushed me into a room and the assistant asked some basic questions and I made it clear to her that my only concern is the abscess and nothing else. she then takes one (1) x-ray of the area and leaves to get the dentist. once he arrives he asks what the matter is, i start telling him about the abscess and he interrupts me telling me he needs to see my teeth, i'm thinking hopefully he knows already but i was so wrong. he then told me that i need to get rid of all four of the teeth in the area of the abscess and to pick two to do that day and the other two to do in the a later appointment, saying how the top teeth are savable so there is no work to be done there. i asked what about the abscess and he starts talking as though he forgot that's why i was there and says it is coming from one tooth he pointed at but when i suggested he just take that one out he shifted his explanation to "but we really don't know, it could be all four" we talk about some antibiotics and he said something along the lines of "it will only be temporary, the tooth pain you are feeling will get much worse" which confused me as i have felt no pain from this abscess and when i told him that, he stopped for a moment and started talking about the other teeth i can save in the area at which point i got extremely upset as it was clear he did not care about the problems i was having, only the problems he wanted me to have. they gave me a prescription for antibiotics and very quickly rushed me out almost like the moment i didn't want teeth removed they stopped caring and wanted me gone, the place wasn't even full it was just me so it couldn't have been due to seeing other patients. that was all upsetting and frustrating, but what makes it worse is when i went to a different dentist, they knew EXACTLY which tooth it was and got it removed without trying to bring up any other bad parts about my teeth and respected my wishes for the appointment to only be about the abscess. the final cherry on top of this horrible cake is that, I unfortunately lost my ID there, either it fell out of my pocket as i was grabbing my coat, or they were rushing me in and out that they forgot to give it back when asking for it. that's not even the worst part they didn't even attempt to call me about it or anything, i only noticed when a week later when i realized it wasn't in my wallet or heavy coat (the one i went there with that I rarely use) and i had to call THEM and was told that they had it. if they knew they had it why not call about it? makes no sense. seriously don't go here, there is a better one not far that has a much better environment and I had a much better experience there than here."
"Update: about 7 months after the root canal now. I’m in constant pain from that tooth. Something happened during the procedure and I don’t know what it is. I did not have this kind of pain before they did the root canal on me, even with my abscess. This sucks. It hurts so much everyday. Friendliness of staff is admirable, but I overall had a negative experience with dental work. I was told to get a root canal and a crown for my lateral incisor. It was my first time getting a crown and I did not know anything about it. I want to say don’t get your dental crown done at BTY if you also care about cosmetics. I got A1 (the lightest color), but in natural light it’s opaque and grey. It somewhat matches my teeth in artificial light, that’s why I thought it was fine when I got it at the dentist. But when you go out in the day light or use the flash it’s noticeable and looks nasty compared to my other teeth. There is also a slight grey outline at the gums, which stands out if I smile. The size of the crown is also way too big compared to my other teeth. It does not match symmetrically with my other lateral incision at all. The top of the crown extends higher on the gum than my front two teeth? This matters so much because it is my front teeth. I have also been experiencing tooth pain on that crown that didn’t exist before the root canal. After the root canal, I’ve been experiencing pain. It’s disappointing and depressing. I get that my tooth was infected, but it was my mistake of coming here."
"I had two fillings and a teeth cleaning, it was done in an hour and a half and they gave me a water bottle plus other gifts. Professional, friendly and convenient!"
