"I heard this hospital doesn't tip their delivery drivers for huge orders. You'd think a doctors office would have more than 5 bucks for an order over $100 dollars. Bring your own lunch boxes if you can't tip appropriately. Pathetic"
"This is the concept of wu-wei, which translates as “non-action,” but really means to go with the true nature of the world and not strive too hard for desires."
"I'm extremely dissatisfied with this hospital and their end of visit care. I've had to jump through so many hoops and still not get answers for my husband's continued care upon discharge. And though I was on his HIPPA and his POA (done with the social worker through Providence) they do not have me listed. The case manager was no help to me and sent me on a wild goose chase to other phone numbers that never responded to my voicemails. It's frustrating that he's been discharged for 2 months and still I'm having to go through them to piece meal information that wasn't in his discharge forms that should've been."
"St. Elias Specialty Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation facility, often entry by way of Providence Medical Center. The doctor makes it morning rounds seeing patients to see how each are doing, any problems, or concerns. There's a staff of nurses and certified nurse assistants to help, as well as occupational and physical therapists to get you ready to either continue therapy closer to home or to be well enough to return home without the need for additional therapy. This is a difficult journey, especially at the beginning. Two complaints I have about this place. First is no working Wifi for patients. Get a staff member to open a ticket with IT with your room number. My Wi-Fi is now connected for 8 hours at a time only twice with my smartphone by a guy named Joey, but my laptop still won't connect on November 22, 2021, no working Wi-Fi because they won't pay for a license. Second the kitchen cooks overcooks the protein, except for their vegetable omelette by special request which is pretty tasty."
"St Elias had a part in my wife death. They released her when she was not ready. Instead should have checked in to hospital instead of being released. Something was wrong after she was released but was not aware of what. They did not want to deal with her requests. They were at times very rude and treated her with hidden dislike. I felt this during my daily visits that something was not right on how she was treated. They the staff gave her a prescription for anxiety after several days a nurse discovered this. I am devastated on her treatment at that hell hole."
