"Nice area. Quite far walk (25 minutes walk in total from the cruise boat). However, if you're a senior or simply don't want to walk, there's a FREE shuttle bus outside. Mounrain sceneries, and btw, Juneau is always raining on and off, so never forget your rain gears! Little downtown is ver nice and clean as well and FULL OF JEWELRY STORES ( Owned by cruise ships). it is nicer if you buy from locally owned business instead. You can tell as they post it outside"
"We came here to go on an excursion to White Pass, and the views were simply breathtaking. I would recommend to anyone going to Alaska"
"It is a nice docking facility. Shopping, etc, is close. It is clean etc. Again, it's a docking area in a port. Floatplanes are a nice touch and great for pics. Check it out when you are cruising AK."
"The town itself is fine but with this dock you need to take a free shuttle to go to the city and the lines can be long. My cruise that was Royal Caribbean arrived there and when we got out of the cruise we needed to take that shuttle. For the shuttle we waited approximately 15-20 minutes. It was not that bad but some people had to wait longer lines than me. In general I don’t care if the dock is far from the city, but it would be nice to have more shuttles to make the process faster."
