"Survived two years here. Only stayed because of my roommates. The apartment is beyond tiny. No storage space anywhere. Sure it’s semi renovated but the apartments are already getting worn out. Rent keeps going up despite no improvements from management. I did hear they were adding laundry before moving out. Curious to see if that actually happens as there is no space on the lot to put it. Having no on-site laundry was super difficult. Also the parking is awful!!! Only 18 spots for 32 residents. Could never find a spot late at night. The parking lot is also incredibly hard to get in and out of. Only stay here if absolutely necessary. Only real pro about this place is that it’s close to campus. That’s it."
"If you hate yourself, move here. Terrible management, apartment was disgusting when we moved in, really small, not extremely nice or renovated. Not a good time"
"I've lived here for almost two semesters now and have really enjoyed it. Maintenance has been prompt and the apartment looks pretty nice on the inside."
"Great apartment. Super close to campus (5min walk) and recently updated. It is 2 bed/2 bath with each room getting its own attached bath. There is a parking lot associated with the complex that you can park in."
"I lived here for a semester. The apartment itself is pretty nice on the interior. The carpet is nice, the tile is decent, and the furniture looks nice. I didn't have any maintenance issues while living here. The apartment is super close to campus. You are literally thirty seconds, maybe a minute, from the LSB. The ward is fantastic and mostly upperclassmen and recent graduates. That being said, it is difficult to overemphasize just how SMALL this place is. There are probably hobos with more storage space in their grocery carts than you get in Santa Fe. The shower stall is barely big enough for my skinny 5'7" body, the kitchen and living room are one room, and there is absolutely no place to store anything. I didn't have a car at the time, but parking was a nightmare for my roommates and absolutely not enforced. The apartment is managed by Aspen Ridge, so you get to deal with all their shenanigans. It took them two months, several emails, and a picture of the check from my bank to recognize that I paid my application fee after they cashed the check. There are plenty of little nickel and dime fees, including the utility handling fees, the actual utilities, a carpet cleaning fee (taken out of your $570 security deposit), the service fee for the rent handling website (not Aspen Ridge's fault, admittedly), and a couple other things, plus a white-glove cleaning check every semester that will probably cost you $12 for forgetting to dust the top of the refrigerator (I'd hate to see what it costs if you forgot to vacuum the carpet). All in all, your $285 rent ends up closer to $315, which isn't terrible, but it's a year-long contract for a tiny two-bedroom apartment with four guys and no on-site laundry. Honestly, the quality of the apartment is very good, but between dealing with Aspen Ridge and the size of the apartment, I'm not sure it's worth what you pay. Look for someplace else first."
