"I'm surprised that this place has good reviews. My mother has lived here for a couple years and just signed a new lease. She likes the place and the people that live there. It is in a good location. She has said to me several times that it has gone downhill since they have gotten new ownership. I have heard that same sentiment from other folks that live here while sitting on her porch and folks come by to walk their dogs and talk to her. I have heard other residents say that they dont fix what needs fixed like toilet seats and faucets. Instead of getting a new toilet seat they will take a used one from a empty apartment Issue 1 My mother recently was switching apartments to one that she thought would be quieter. They didn't explain to her all the fees before she moved just brought her an invoice after. I called the manager Tyrell I think and explained that to him. He told me that he personally met with her twice in person and once over the phone to explain the fees. I told my mom that. She said no that she had only talked to Michelle before the move and he met with her after the move. I called him back and told him that my mother had never met with him until the balance statement he admitted that he hadn't met with her but had told Michelle what to say to my mother (two lies) he kept saying "we" told her this and "we" told her that. I confronted him again and said that my mother hadn't talked to him until after. He assured me that Michelle was clear with her. All I can say is that my mother doesn't have memory issues but she said that was not clear to her. He just kept saying there was nothing he could do because she signed a contact. She did sign a contract I feel that the whole experience was wrong and she was treated poorly. My mom doesn't like conflict and just accepts things sometimes that she doesn't understand. If they feel good about themselves thats on them Issue 2. When my mom got to her new apartment her internet didn't work. The maintenance guy Larry said that there was nothing he could do about it. They gave my mom a phone number to call. My mother doesn't have an account with the internet company the apartment does. So they should have done this step. We called anyway. The internet guy said that there was a panel in the laundry closet that has jumpers to the room where you need internet and we just needed to change that. Something that Larry should have known but made us call and do. Issue 3 In her new apartment Dish Network didn't work. When Larry came to look at it he blamed us for moving the box. Excuse me Larry there wasn't a box in the new unit so what were we supposed to do? Larry went and got another box from an empty apartment it didnt work. Once again they told us to call Dish Network even though my mother doesn't have an account with them. The Dish Network guy came out and said to my mother "Why did you call the apartment management is supposed to call us?" The Dish guy said the box was old but wasn't the issue the cables weren't hooked up inside the wall so he had to fix it. He gave her a new box. The apartment maintenance should have fixed it based on what the Dish guy said. Issue 4 This place just nickel and dimes you to death so much so that over the past few months a bunch of people have moved out. I have witnessed this firsthand. Which tells you something about the changes that have taken place. Extra fees are garbage pickup, internet, satellite. It seems that they are charging residents a premium for internet when from our phone call to the internet provider it seems that the entire complex has fiber connection then they divide it up for the entire place and then mark it up to each apartment. Seems like they are price gouging everyone on that. Garbage pickup? Satellite seems like the same as internet one account divided by apartment then marked up. With the current market of apartments I'm sure many places do this same thing but it is wrong. The apartment is nice and in a good location but I would encourage people to go elsewhere if they have a choice."

"My special needs son has been living here for 3 years. The apartment has had new owners 3 times since he’s been here. I am his legal guardian and manage all of his finances. I have been having trouble with the rental auto pay with all the changes. The manager, Terrell has been absolutely no help whatsoever. He will make eye contact and tell you that he will help and then does nothing. It took me multiple visits to his office and several unanswered phone messages before I was able to get the auto pay worked out for myself. It has been very frustrating. I have no complaints with the apartment itself. Just poor management."
