"The apartment complex has been wonderful. The one-bedroom apartment is very spacious, the neighborhood is quiet, and the recreational centers accommodated by the complex are quite big."
"I would not recommend moving here. The one bedrooms are not one bedrooms in my opinion. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, my apartment was dirty when I moved in with stains on the carpet. Not an issue really if it wasn't for the fact that they charged me for new carpets when I moved out. While staying here, my buildings main drain line clogged. No issues, that happens, but they at first tried telling us that the only community bathroom at the mail room / gym was closed because they needed pictures. That was until I made the point that they had shut my buildings water off. Just seems like something I shouldn't have to argue over given the water situation. Then they hired someone to come and snake the drain. The snake went the wrong direction, back into my apartment, broke the kitchen P-trap and then once they turned the water back on and people started using their water, it flooded my apartment, ruined my rug and a few other pieces of furniture. Again, things like that happen, but the part I wasn't happy about was when their on-call "maintenance tech" brought a shop vacuum to my apartment, so I could pull all my stuff out of my apartment in the night, vacuum everyone's waste water out of my apartment and throw a good bit of my stuff away while he sat on the golf cart and played on his phone. While I was there, most of the staff was relatively nice, to be fair, but there was two shootings and a murder. You could see daylight through the door, which was noted and not fixed, the AC / heater was a joke and the community center hardly ever opened when it was supposed to, according to the posted hours. The AC / heat in the gym never worked. Not a big deal in the summer but wasn't too nice in the winter and it would drop below 60 degrees in there. It was brought to the attention of the staff and I never saw it fixed. The apartment got me by, but it isn't the first place I would recommend to anyone."
"I have lived at the Redwood Apartments for nearly two years now. They have always answered all questions I had and the maintaince crew is friendly, quick and do an incredible job. The office staff is AMAZING and you will not find any better, anywhere! Recently I have had some health issues and changing of jobs which caused me to get a little behind in rent. Sela, from the front was so incredible to work with. She worked out a plan with me that allowed me to stay and continue to pay rent and get caught up. It may not be the newest or thr fanciest of apartments but Sela and the front office will keep me here. They are Stellar and I highly re commend living here."
"DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. You know, unless you like living in horribly ventilated, terribly small, outrageously expensive, awfully managed apartment complexes where the police are called seemingly every other day. We were paying $1400, not including utilities, for what was basically a studio apartment that happened to have a partition in it so it could "technically" be called a one bedroom. And did we mention the Black Mold? In the bathroom, the closet, and, we later found out when we were moving out, pretty much everywhere. And this wasn't just near pipes, this was on outward facing walls, meaning that the structure of the building itself is bad. We asked management to help us with that problem three (THREE!!!) times, and each time it came back. They basically had their staff just paint over the problem (literally in one case) before they just didn't even respond the third time. And expanding outside the scope of our apartment alone, the amenities are a joke or always broken down, not to mention don't match the pictures on their website, the only benefit they had (being near shopping centers) is being claimed by much better apartments (including the ones right next door, hint hint), the place is just terrible and run down. Now, I'm sure these guys will be reaching out soon to try to bribe us to take this review down, as they have many, MANY residents before, so let me end this review by saying we have yet to get our deposit back, but they're charging us over $500.00 for cleaning this mold that we have asked them over and over to get rid of. They're not even taking it out of our deposit, we have literally no idea where that money is. So, I say again, if you care about your health and your sanity, not to mention your wallet, NEVER EVER LIVE HERE. And for the staff reading this, my advice to you? Quit, turn the place over to the state government, and let them turn it into low income housing, because the prices you're ripping everyone off with should be a crime."
"I love living here! The office is amazing. Chellci, Sela & Alan! Always willing to help me and make me feel welcome. Maintenance is awesome. My work order is always completed same day. I would definitely recommend this place. 5 stars for sure! Love it here!"
