"If I could I’d give 10x stars on the atmosphere. I feel like I’ve been transported to Vegas. How is this gorgeous restaurant in Woods Cross? It’s so bougie. I’m drooling over the chandeliers, the saturated color and the cutout shapes. It’s the perfect place to have brunch and bond with your girlfriends. I got the Dreamer Fry Up with 2 perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs. Baked cherry tomatoes, house potatoes, mushrooms, toast and sausage. I ate it all and loved it. But on a normal day I’d only finish half (I was hungry). My friend got the avocado toast which is stunning! And delicious. It has edible orchids as garnish. Again, enough for two. Celebrities eat here, tv shows are filmed here and you can even rent it out. Everyone is treated with kindness. I’m taking my daughter and friends for her birthday and her future wedding party has to eat here! I’m she’d only 12, but still. You can see that money was spent on the interior design and yet I learned the owners designed it. I wish I could see their house. The pink quartz countertop glows red at night. Owners Chris and Angie put 35k LED lights inside of it. And they didn’t know it would be red until they opened and were there at night. That kind of detail for a cake counter! They said they’ll open a bakery next door soon. There are beautiful cakes, whimsical cake pops, crème brûlée, a meringue with berries as pink as everything else. There’sa British telephone box remitinacent of a Barbie box. It’s so pretty but it also has substance. Everything is made from scratch. They weigh and measure everything to ensure consistency. I got to talk to the owners. They paid servers double minimum wage and believe in them, like family. Chris says he wants moms to relax and forget about the outside world. With a soft mellow background. There’s a message on the bathroom tile that says, Me Time. Sometimes the only time you get me time is in the bathroom. Nothing costs above $20 for brunch. Be aware that they have a liquor license. It prohibits people bringing in water bottles. So leave the Stanley in your car. It’s like the airport - no unopened bottles. That’s to protect their license. This is my new favorite place. It should get much higher reviews. I’m so happy there here and I hope they’ll stay forever."
"Extremely disappointed with my experience at Plated Dreams. Made an online reservation for my mom’s birthday, I added a note stating that we were coming in for her birthday. When we came in the restaurant was pretty much empty. Though, I really was not expecting anything they sat us in the table next to the bathroom, at the back of the restaurant. when there was multiple empty booths right next to us. One specifically decorated with a Happy Birthday banner. We still enjoyed the food and Hunters service. Aesthetic was gorgeous but we couldn’t even enjoy that since we were seated in the back of the restaurant. When we were ready to go, I asked to talk to the manager on duty regarding our experience considering the empty decorated birthday booth probably was my reservation and I didn’t want to be charged a “No show” fee since nobody actually looked at my reservation when I gave them my name. Aubry then came out to speak to us and did not apologize whatsoever but confirmed that when you do make an online reservation for a celebration (Which I did) you do recive a decorated table. She proceeded to tell us that our party was considered “too small” for a booth but again please consider the restaurant was EMPTY. Not only was the lack of apology disappointing but the lack of effort to make up the situation when it was my mom’s 60th birthday. Horrible customer service from management."
"Dinner was a delight! The goat cheese balls are out of this world, each plate that came out was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully plated. We had the NY Steak and Salmon followed by the Pavlova. Each course was bursting with flavor. Aubrey, our server, was warm and welcoming. We’d definitely come back for another beautiful date night out."
"This place is really cute, nice atmosphere for sure. The servers need a little work, they stand around and chat a lot and ignore guests. I sent back the Biscoff Latte because is was overpoweringly burnt coffee flavored, which may be okay for others, I'm not really a coffee person so that could just be me. I ordered it because I love Biscoff, but asked for a London Fog instead. The London Fog was nice when it finally arrived. Our server Arabella forgot it until I waived her down and reminded her. The food was prettier than it was tasty and really over-priced. Taste wise it wasn't spectacular except the Chocolate Creme Brulee. That was quite nice. Overall, this cost a lot $$$. Which I don't feel like the food was really worth that. Will return again to try the Velvet Pancakes and give it another shot, but the service needs work, they need to take some pride in their customers and work on their work ethic. The aesthetics of the Cafe was the best part of the whole experience, and the seats were very comfortable and cozy. My eyes quite enjoyed the visit."
"Had an awesome meal at Plated Dreams! It's such a cool spot with a super chill vibe and the staff were all kinds of friendly.Kicked things off with this amazing salad. It was packed with fresh leaves, some sweet apples, and these yummy cranberries and nuts, topped off with a piece of grilled chicken that was just wow. Then came the burger - oh man, it was epic. Juicy meat, crispy bacon, a gooey egg, all in a soft brioche that was just the bomb. And the fries? Perfect crunch, super addictive.Finished off with the fanciest French toast I've ever had. It had berries, sugar, and this tangy sauce that was the perfect hit of sweet and sour.Seriously, everything looked as good as it tasted. Plated Dreams is definitely where it's at. Can't wait to go back!"
