"We’ve been to this location probably 10 times in the last year, and every single time they have messed up our order. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand that things happen sometimes, but the consistency here is telling. Along with always getting our orders wrong, we’ve noticed that many of our visits also included undercooked rice and brown lime wedges. We used to be big Cafe Rio fans and eat it regularly, but definitely will be looking for other options now. The quality seems to have really gone down hill in the last few years."

"We love Cafe Rio and usually eat at one by our house. We decided to get one on the way home and tried the Woodscross restaurant. Never again! One of our salads had 2 dirty lids under the corn tortillas. We had 3 dressings and they all have their lids and you can see in the picture the 2 different sized lids next to them. Lost my appetite for mine but my daughter was so hungry so we asked them to remake it. The staff was indifferent and made it. They seemed put out when I reminded them I paid for extra meat and an extra dressing. Then when my daughter went to eat, noticed there wasn't any corn tortillas. I took it back to the staff and they yelled from across the kitchen instead comimg up to me, that they only had 1 tortilla left and it is at the bottom. They didn't even bother to let us know or offer a different tortilla option. Only after I asked for the manager's name of Fernando did they apologize. I do not recommend this location at all. They don't even make the salad in front of you to see it and then you order through touchscreens or on your phone app. So, if you need to talk to the staff you have to wait until one of them pops around the corner by the drive thru or yell back for someone."

"Showed up at 6:10 pm on a Wednesday night. Lights all on, chairs down, people working the drive thru. Doors all locked. No sign on the door saying why they were locked, and according to the hours posted on the door, they were open. We made eye contact with people in the kitchen, and they just looked at us and kept on going with their conversation. I had a few people with me, and we didn’t want to do drive thru; we wanted to sit down and eat our meal. But no, we couldn’t do that and there was no explanation why. We decided to eat at a different establishment."

"It feel a little more impersonal with the kiosks. Service always still good but very little interaction with anybody - and maybe that’s the intent. It was a solid 4 star experience when I’ve been used to 5 star at Cafe Rio."

"I used to love going to Cafe Rio! The last 2 times we ordered the food have been subpar at best. The lettuce was in such big pieces that it's ridiculous!! They don't make the food the way we order it, and they put hardly any meat or rice in our salads. If that's not bad enough, we found 4 lettuce head cores in the 2 salads we ordered had a total of 5 in them. It's totally unacceptable! The burrito we ordered didn't have the sauce we ordered and paid for on it. Sadly, I hope everyone reading this DOES NOT go to Cafe Rio in Woods Cross!! The staff are rude as well!!"
