"So close to the lifts. Literally a 3-5 minute walk away. Love the sauna hot tub and pool. Surprisingly a deep pool at 7ft. There’s also a nice ping pong table in the game room. They just need higher quality paddles and balls. Service is great and I love the specials they have on some nights like margaritas Wednesdays. I would love to come back. Walls are kinda thin and ceilings are short so you’ll hear the people above if there are kids running around or people partying."
"Large rooms that are great for bunking with friends and family. Pricing is competitive. Their amenities include a lobby, pool, hottub and sauna. The rooms and overall feel (outside of the lobby) feel a bit rundown. But if your cool with it, a good place to stay. We would come back."
"We have owned our unit during week #6 since the late 1970's so we have seen many, many changes @ Sweetwater Lift Lodge over the yrs. We last visited our unit 8 yrs ago, so we were pleasantly surprised at the many upgrades in the Lobby areas, especially the expanded little Market & the comfortable lobby seating areas available ~ very nicely decorated & welcoming. However, there were many items within our unit that definitely needed attention. The couch & chair are in much need of replacing, they are well worn, both bathroon sink plungers need to be replaced as one is so close to the backsplash that you can't get your hand back there to pull it up to use the plunger & the one in the upstairs BR the whole plunger unit comes out of the socket when trying to use it. The entire heating system is so old & very noisy clanking throughout the night that we just turned them off. The staff needs to salt the walkways more often as they were very slick & dangerous & one of us had a fall while we were there. The new mattresses & towels being offered were both a definite plus! Our unit is on the backside, & we were pleased with the availability of parking so close to our unit while we were there. Sweetwater is an older facility, but the units could really use an upgrade. We still can't beat the location to the Resort area. The majority of the staff we dealt with during our week were very pleasant & accomodating to us. Thank you."
"We own our week here and have always loved the close access to the slopes. Staff is great and accommodations are comfortable. Thanks for the new mattresses! We really need to get this parking pass situation under control. It’s not fair for those coming after a guest who forgets to return their pass and not have the ability to park on Lowell. The Board needs to arrange with the city for backup passes if this happens and there needs to be stiff consequences for those who do not return them. I would suggest $1000 fine and if they put it in an overnight delivery return, $500 will be credited if the city does not cooperate with backup passes. The units really need an update. That fridge does not fit the space and will not let the door open all the way. Clearly it has been forced because of the deep scratches on the fridge. Lack of design planning here. Regardless, we have been coming every year for about 20 years and really enjoy our time."
"This was a great room for a large family. It had 3 bedrooms, including 2 bunkers, 2 queens, and a Murphy bed. It had a kitchen as well. We will stay there when we have our whole family with us next time. The draw back was there was definitely animal dander as my asthma and allergies kicked in almost immediately after coming in the room. The indoor pool and hot tub and sauna were awesome. We even enjoyed a fee games in the game room. Nice selection of food to buy in a pinch. Location was near everything."
