"Excellent, if you're coming for what this place is: a romantic experience. If you're looking to stay somewhere on a trip, you may prefer something geared towards the experience you expect. If you're looking for a setting as a couple to grow your relationship and possibly your family, this is the best place I could ask for. It's warmly lit, not overly bright, with rich décor that takes you back, but in a way most people appreciate. We highly recommend bringing snacks, as it enhances the after festivity experience, and if you don't have them, you'll miss out. Each room has unique amenities and so be sure to scrutinize what you book, and how it fits the experiences you want to create. We've stayed in two suites. Versailles and Ivanhoe. Breakfast was tasty, though the pancakes were quite thick and this made them difficult to eat."
"Super cute and adorable place. Only issue was how hard the bed is, they are an extra firm bed. I couldn't get any comfort while sleeping. I've slept in different hotels in my life and these where the worst beds I've come across. I already have a bad back and hips. So sleeping was so much worse with how hard it was. I unfortunately ended up sleeping on the love seat instead because of it. Outside of the bed being an issue everything else was great breakfast in the morning brought to the room, room was large and spacious, clean/well take care of, friendly staff, and adorable decoration."
"The room we had was rapunzel tower. It was a lovely room. My only suggestions to it would be to add a larger table or side table or something to put breakfast or food on. Also curtains might be nice as the light came in a lot as soon as the sun came in. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The service was exceptional. The lady up front was very kind and even got us some ice for our wine bottle to chill on. The extended checkout for only $15 is a steal of a deal. Breakfast was very yummy. And the dining room is well stocked with extras. We will Def stay here again."
"This is our second time staying here--the first was 9 years ago. On this occasion, some things had changed a bit, so let me contrast good and less good. Good: great breakfast! yummy chocolate chip cookies provided, good Internet, comfy bed, good water pressure, good hot water. Lovely place. Less good: Our room has a "European tub and shower," which means that the shower is a hose and head attached to the tub, which would be fine except that you can't stand up and reach your head if you are taller than 5'4". You can sit or crouch in the tub, but that is less comfortable. Also, the Inn wants to keep the comforters clean (understandable--greasy popcorn hands can ruin the nice comforters), so they ask you to remove them rather than trash them. No problem. But then you are left with the sheet and a thin blanket, and we froze the first night because we couldn't find a thermostat (turns out, it was a remote-operated one that we on;y discovered shortly before checking out), and we didn't want to have the fireplace on all night. We asked for another blanket the second night, which helped, but not a lot. Finally, there is no place to put clothes, coats...nothing. No dresser, no closet, and only one hook on the bathroom door. Still a great place to stay, but the inconveniences would make me want to tour before deciding which room to book. Get a shower. Bring or ask for extra blankets."
"We decided to spend our wedding anniversary here and all tho the room was nice it was very cold and we had to go home and get some extra blankets so we can stay warm. The shower is dangerous it is very slippery. They do have slip pads however they are only about 1 inch wide and very hard to see where they are. The overall experience was very disappointing. We checked in on Saturday and checked out on Tuesday. The staff we saw were nice however the staffing hours were limited. They are only there between 4 to 11 and no guest staffing on Sunday. No maid service. We had to use the same towels for the entire time we were there. There was supposed to be someone on Monday at 4 pm. We tried several time to get clean towels and ice but nobody was there. By 7:45 PM we just gave up. We ended up checking out Tuesday morning before 8 AM to go home and shower with clean towels. For the money you spend to stay there you would expect a little better service. We wont stay there again."
