"Great place to stay for a ski trip... obviously not slopeside but the price isn't either ...Have have to drive 20-40 minutes to get on the slopes but walking distance to bars restaurants coffee shops etc . New building new rooms all cookie cutter but who cares ...Nice staff Starbucks on site clean pool and hot tub as well Definitely recommend and will come back as it made a 5 day trip way more affordable then staying closer"

"I was in town because of a family tragedy. I booked this hotel because I knew I was going to be emotionally disadvantaged and wanted to make sure that everything went correctly where I slept so I could recover. I nearly booked another nearby hotel that was 60% cheaper and because of this I expected more. The bed in my king room was squashed, irregular, and generally broken. It also has a motion activated light directly above the bed so when you move the Eye of Sauron decides to look at you ALL NIGHT. I speak to the front desk, they hear this problem often and there is no way to turn it off or disable it. So I switched rooms, the queen room does not have the night light problem. Although it still has an utterly broken bed. Sound conduction is poor, room temperature regulation is poor, pillows are poor, and frankly I'm not sure what went right. I suppose parking is easy? Ample power outlets? Actually, I do know what went right. There was one member of staff that I dealt with every morning. That really tall dude that gave me a cup of coffee. He was great, friendly as hell and really softened the blow from the terrible night's sleep that I always got. Pro tip, the attached picture shows a nice way to block the intermittently flashing and bright thermostat."

"This is the perfect place to stay for a ski trip to any of the big or little cottonwood canyon resorts (Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird, Alta). The location is right at the entrance to big cottonwood canyon, you couldn’t be closer without being in the canyon itself. The staff are helpful, the rooms are modern and clean (with fun ski themed walls), and parking is underground and secure. Walking distance to restaurants and great coffee. I will definitely be returning!"

"My biggest complaint is the refrigerator. The thing is so small I couldn't fit anything in it without taking out the shelf and the soda can holder on the door. I bought a frozen dinner but found out there is no freezer compartment. It would be nice if the shower actually had a door to keep the heat in and the water from splashing onto the floor. Unfortunately they do not serve breakfast in the morning like Holiday Inn Express or Hilton Homewood Suites. The hotel is new, lobby modern and location is incredible!"
