Royal Inn Midvale

"There is a lady at the front desk who is very mean and would not give my husband another key to our room when he requested one, she even told him to get off the property for no reason at all and while u was out picking up my kids from school and my husband was at the hotel trying to get a key that worked I tried to call to resolve the issue and the lady blatantly ignored my calls and would not let my husband in the room I had to let him in once we arrived back at the hotel. Their website also says they are pet friendly however after booking non refundable rooms they had a sign in the front saying Cats are not allowed, so my poor cats had to stay in my vehicle for our entire stay which ended in disaster when they both got out and one was killed by another dog in this very hotel and my other cat is still missing and both were emotional support animals for my daughter who has autism. She was devastated and I'm truly disgusted with the service here, if I had never gotten rooms here then two of our fury family members would still be alive and with us today.. I also believed I was booking a room with a kitchenette but it turns out the rooms didn't even have a microwave and one of our rooms didn't have a fridge."

"Its cheap and you get what you pay for. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The location isn’t amazing but for $45 a night you get what you pay for. Clean rooms and nice staff, no bed bugs, what more can you ask for. 100% recommended for cheap ski trip."

"This place is gross, and it takes a lot for me to say that. Stains all over the floor and upholstery, holes in the curtains and bedspread, back door completely smashed and jacked open by plastic bottles. Guys on electric scooters in the hall and lobby. My dogs are cleaner than these rooms and still I got charged a pet fee- $140 total for this room is a complete rip off. Would’ve left if it wasn’t super late. A refund would be appropriate."
